Rodeway Inn - Hotel in South Houston - 2042 Houston Blvd, USA

Been staying here off and on for a long time now and this motel is the most homely feeling place I've stayed at. They care about their guests and try to keep them as comfortable as possible! Nice, clean, quiet property, good location, great owner's and staff!! I would recommend this place to anyone including family, friends and strangers!! If you want a clean, decent, comfortable and quiet place then Rodeway Inn in South Houston is the one you should pick! Also they have coffee and a really AWESOME SLUSHY MACHINE!! The only one I've seen that has a slushy machine in it!! Summer is here and I love the slushies!!!

Had a great stay while I was here.🏨 👭The front desk workers were very nice and polite people & so were the housekeeper's that worked there. 👍They all were very kind and helpful people to me while they engaged me at my room door 🚪.Wow this hotel is amazing. Check out what time is at noon, not at 11 a.m. they have great bathroom amenities and the breakfast is awesome you get to order what you want and then they make it for you. I needed a ride out of there and and so they gave me a free shuttle to another hotel I had to go to. This hotel I highly recommend if you want to go somewhere with great quality. Horrendous place to stay even for 1 night. This motel is disgusting, infested with bold roaches, they crawled right on me . After seeing and killing the 8th roach I started taking pictures. There was a farm of roaches right behind the old broken down TV stand, the roaches were crawling on the walls on the table, everywhere. I sat on the red couch when I first got in the room, but it smelled as though someone had urinated on it and in the corner. The bathroom was a complete horror scene, tub filthy toilet disgusting and roaches where everywhere, including the refrigerator. The air conditioner did not work ( no heat ) decided I could not stay any longer due to the unsanitary conditions. There were thumbnails on the bed which poked my partner. I went down to ask for a refund apparently the girl had no idea how to take on the task and had to wait for her dad to come and give me a call which I never received. I never had to take pictures and make videos for a place but I did for this one. This hotel needs to be shut down it is highly unsafe.

Stayed here for a couple of months. The pricing was more than reasonable considering what you’re paying for. The management was polite and non intrusive. The rooms were kept clean by a pair of delightful, hard working and professional housekeepers. Rooms were free of insects and the noise level was relatively low. Overall the rooms are well maintained and nothing seems “run down”. Most notably, this place doesn’t ooze sleaze like many others in this price range.

They made me feel at home . Room was clean and the staff was nice. I’d recommend this place to anyone. Coming back . Really quiet… Place you can bring your family … They honestly are A1 .. go above and beyond to make sure the guest doesn’t feel like a guest. What more can I say. Huge TV lots of selection.. huge fridge. Maids are exceptionally polite.. Manager was injured and helped with my luggage top notch

They front desk guy was helpful and was able to check us in at 6 or 7am. Entering the rooms, it looked pretty nice for an old hotel. Something noteworthy would be the fact that it is a non-smoking room, but it still smelled like someone smoked in it. There are cigar stains on the sheets. And the sheets were pretty dirty to the point my skin began to irritate. I'm sure it depends on the person, I have sensitive skin, so I don't recommend it if you are sensitive or have a child. The bath sheets are unclean. I got new towels in the morning, but they were also dirty and stained. Some stains can't be seen on camera. I appreciate that there aren't any roaches and that the amenities in this room worked.

Currently in 109 & I love the staff here. Very nice and professional. 💯🥰 Still staying here till I can get in my feet. Home sweet home ! Book here for your vacations. You won’t regret it 😎😌 Cozy and comfy beds. Bathroom is wide and clean 🧼 Clean floors and microwave , fridge and coffee maker in the rooms. Thank you Two the workers in the front office. Very nice 😊

Poor services. Didn’t let us check in to a paid room we reserved. After being stuck in the ER, tried to get some rest in a paid room but unfortunately we didn’t make it to their check-in time. Which we have never had a problem with checking in at any time. From Staying in motels all over and working front desk over 10 yrs. Have I heard we can’t check in. We always give them their room no matter what time they arrive. With a long day and long night at the ER all we wanted was a little rest. Being that we were 2 hours away from home. In the city we don’t know. This was very dangerous situation they put our family thru. Thankfully my husband didn’t have an accident or no one was around us when he did dose off. Thank God we made it home safe. You can’t even go to this motel to feel safe they will take your money too. No stars!
