Rodd's in Bristol was almost perfect. Place was very busy but we're able to be seated right away. Service is very friendly. Lots of breakfast items/combos to choose from. All are priced really well. Scrbled eggs, iver easy eggs, bacon and sausage were cooked perfectly. However the pancakes and French toast both had a bit of an off taste to them... something like old oil. Just wasn't right. Aside from that Rodd's looks to be a popular choice for breakfast and lunch.
First visit here and I got the country breakfast, 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, Texas toast, biscuit and sausage gravy, added a side of homemade hash. Everything is great, bacon is nice and crispy everything is seasoned well and cooked to perfection.
You seat yourself, it's a small place so seating is close. The service was ok for it not being busy. The food was made quickly but was bland. The tables were still dirty while seated and cleaned better as we sat there. The parking was good.
omg! is this even neccesarry serving us an OVER cooked burn bacon! how even rude the person answer our call to place an order. do good on what you ppl doing in there, Its the food your serving. not some feeds for a pig . this just makes me sad.💔
A Bristol staple. Very good pancakes and I recommend The Mess omelette! Very friendly staff and you'll find it busiest during peak weekend hours. They open early, 6:00? So if you are an early riser that's the time to go.
We love the food (and more importantly, the staff!) at Rodds. You won't find quicker, friendly service anywhere. Highly recommended.
Got a Great holiday, to go, meal from Rodd's. Ordered five days ahead, they had it ready and on time. They even gave us a dessert at no extra cost. Best place to go.
First time visiting, went to the counter. Sat down. Plenty of room. Ordered breakfast, coffee, and biscuits and gravy. The service was excellent, breakfast was just as excellent. For one person for a full breakfast was less than $15. We'll go back again
