Incredible display of high-scoring elk and a nice variety of other taxidermy animals. Great gift shop and really nice staff. Doesn't take much time to go through the displays. Great for families. Highly recommend!
Amazingly wonderful place to learn about the local elk and their habit. It is free to get in and look around. There are great walking paths on the property that are also free to use. There is a small shop, but its only focus is on men with nothing for women or children. Prior to their remodel, the whole place was more family friendly in the activities as well as the shop.
Great place to learn more about the animals in the area. My daughter loved learning about all the different animals through their interactive screen. An added bonus she really loved were the antler hats, stickers and temporary tattoo they give the kiddos.
Great place to learn about Elk and see some truly magnificent mounts. Staff was extremely friendly, willing to answer any and all questions. There is a gift shop / store for souvenirs or your RMEF swag.

I like everything about the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. The recently remoded gift shop and entrance is very nice. If you have last minute Christmas shopping to do go visit the gift shop. If you want a gift that will last all year long consider becoming a member. Giving memberships to friends and family is also a great way to keep the program going.
Loved it. We went to visit on way through Montana, but it was closed. We ate out lunch on their back patio anyway.
This is a must see for any RMEF member near or passing through Missoula.
