Rocky Inn Motel - Motel in Long Beach - 1045 CA-1, USA

Had a flight to catch so I looked for a cheap motel I could stay in for the night. The manager was polite. But the room was a wreck. Damage was left unfixed in the room. Also there was a couple next door (that I’m pretty sure was on drugs), arguing until 4 in the morning. Shady characters ride in and out the parking lot given it’s location on PCH. Wasn’t a peaceful nights rest to say the least. Also I was told my room was a smoking room, yet there was a smoke detector across from the bed, with a little red blinking light in it. Not to be paranoid but that’s a little suspect 😬 nonetheless I slept fully clothed. anyways the room looked nothing like the pictures. I wish they put more effort into keeping the rooms nice and fixing the damage. I mean cmon… why does the tv look like it was dipped in acid and how come no one painted over the patched drywall 🧐

8/24/2021 This motel definitely get 5 stars. The employees were very nice & professional, the room are nice and very clean. Its actually 1 of the best motels on Long Beach Blvd in Compton. I would definitely come back again.

I stay in all kinds of rooms from 60.00 to 300.00 ( work travel pays for higher ones). I think I have a good feel of what a fair price is for a room. The price was cheap but the room was even cheaper. The towels are about half the size of a normal towel. The bed sheet had rips in it. There was no maid service for the two nights I stayed there. There are no alarm clocks. They say they had wake up calls, ( I am skeptical cuz it did not wake me up), but it only rings your room 4 times. You interact with the staff thru a 1 inch glass partition. It made me feel like I was one of girls from Orange is the New Black getting my standard issue before being place into my cell. The kit includes a room key and remote for T.V. Oh, I almost forgot, on the plus side there was free porn !

Stayed at the Rockey Inn for a music festival near by. Got there the day of, had one room ready to go. They did not take card, only cash, so I had to drive out to a nearby ATM real quick. They just took my details down and the money. $5 deposit, and I got it back. Room smelled faintly of cigarettes (as was expected, to be honest), and had some cosmetic imperfections. There were many available parking spaces when I went. The motel and immediate area are decent, not too sketchy. No real complaints, everything was O.K. A last minute room with a queen sized bed for 95 bucks. Can't complain, would surely recommend in a pinch.

I booked this hotel for a week and it was still quite expensive for the location and the quality. I paid extra for a room with a spa, which I was expecting just a regular spa, but it turned out to be a heart…something like a honeymoon suite. I was satisfied with the quality of the bed, room, and location for the most part, but the service was lacking. The desk service was sufficient, but when I went to ask for a new towel after I noticed a few days of no room service I was told that I needed to surrender my current towels to be washed because no extra towels existed. The noise level was not too bad, but you can tell the people that frequent this hotel are not travelers, but locals that need a place to stay for longer than a few nights. Mostly I was disappointed with the lack of room service and lack of some basic amenities. In my room, I was only provided with two tiny bars of soap to last me the entire week and when one mostly dissolves after one shower then you know that’s insufficient. Overall, the room was big and comfy, but the service was definitely lacking.

Very good price & close to the Long Beach airport, so that's a plus! There was a slight leak in the refrigerator but not bad enough to bother us. Wood floors, has a hot tub but didn't use it. I'm not picky when it comes to hotels. As long as its a safe area, clean, no bugs & a/c works.

Nice guy in front desk. Affordable pricing, but had baby roaches walking around. Good thing I had spray in my car. Only been once though. Other rooms may be better.

I haven't been to a worse motel !!!!
