I wish I could give more stars to this wedding location. We booked this location for our wedding ceremony months ahead of time. When we arrived on our wedding day the parking lot was full of cars despite being fully paid for. There was people eating at the tables at the park, walking around in swim suits, people would still try to park even though there was a wedding going on. Every weekend we have been by there was reserved signs but not for our wedding day. The one star is only given for the budget friendliness and scenery. For any future couple getting married here maybe have someone come down in the morning to make sure there are signs or just make your own! This park would be best for early spring or early fall due to the amount of people that visit the beach.

Great beach, easy access, just avoid mid day (less crowded than many others either way)- we parked up top and walked down. Lady getting back to her car later was mad tho- when it says don’t park on the grass, don’t do it unless you want a $40 ticket.
The Lake Michigan Overlook Deck, located in the upper portion of Rocky Gap County Park, provides spectacular panoramic views of Lake Michigan. The Overlook Deck and Pergola offer a wonderful backdrop for a small wedding or gathering. Guests renting the Overlook Deck will have access to limited, reserved parking close by. The area includes electrical outlets on the adjacent light poles. Between 100 to 150 chairs will fit on the crushed stone area in front of the Overlook Deck, depending on the size of the chairs. The Parks Department does not have chairs or tables available. Rental parties can bring in chairs and tables to use at their event.
My destination was Silver Beach Park, but after seeing Total chaos and disregard to Social distancing norms, I went to Gap park, not over crowded and people respect Social distancing. Only downside Restrooms and parking.
This place is beautiful 😍
Great experience. Family friendly. Excellent views. Great place for kids to get wet and find some cool rocks.

The course is clean an free on debris. It is a fun and challenging little course. They have batting cages and go-cart. Although we only played golf it looked to be nicely ran. The Icecream was also great. Worth checking it out if in the area.
