If you’re looking for a beautiful scenery with no Wi-Fi and a hot tub, you’re in luck! My boyfriend & I spent our 7 year anniversary here in June 2024. We are from Middle Tennessee. Our nearby cabins (Gatlinburg) are no where near as beautiful or as cheap. We enjoyed the Creole Cabin 100%. We went zip lining at the nearby canopy tours. This was the perfect get-away trip. We wish we had stayed longer. I hope Ed & Nancy would be happy to have us back. The garden made me feel like I was in a fairy tale.
I booked to stay at Rocky Comfort Cabins during a road trip from New Orleans to Chicago with my girlfriend this year. I planned to propose on the trip, and Rocky Comfort Cabins looked like the perfect romantic setting. We stayed in the French Creole Cabin, and it did not disappoint! The cabin and its surroundings are simply beautiful, and from the outset our hosts were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect stay. Although it's far away (we are based in England), we certainly hope to make it back there one day for an anniversary! :)
This was my first time ever staying in a cabin, and it well exceeded my expectations! It's a very secluded location to be able to unwind and spend time with my husband. I really enjoyed all of the amenities the cabin had to offer, I would definitely stay here again!
My wife and I have been staying at rocky comfort cabins (the Cove) almost yearly, and it continues to be our favorite annual getaway. The cabin grounds offer beautiful and secluded scenery for relaxation, and the short and scenic walk to Blue Sky winery is an amazing convenience for those trying to find a relaxing place to decompress while listening to beautiful birdsong and watching the docile bees and hummingbirds visit the flowers. The cabins are well maintained and beautifully decorated. Our first year we did a lot of off grounds activities, but lately we find that just staying at the cove and occasionally visiting blue sky is what we prefer to do for almost the entire trip. It's so great. If you like to relax with loved ones, this is the place to stay.
This place is truly magical. If you're looking to unplug from the stress of daily life or just want a romantic getaway, this is the spot to be at. Added bonus of getting to nerd out a bit if you stay at the Hollow. It went beyond expectations. The love and details put into all of it was amazing. Ed and Nancy have made a small bit of heaven here and we hope to come back again very soon.
Our kids got us a gift certificate to Rocky Comfort Cabins as a Christmas present. We waited until fall hoping for cooler temperatures and colorful leaves ... well that wasn't the case! Still, a wonderful little get away to an absolutely adorable little hobbit house! The property is clean and well maintained. The hot tub worked perfectly (fortunately evenings dipped low enough to enjoy it) and was very clean. Our hobbit house was a short walk through the woods to Blue Sky Winery. Everything about this place was perfect!
We just got married and we were looking for somewhere to stay for our mini ‘moon. I am sooo happy I found Rocky Comfort Cabins. We stayed in The Hollow. It was amazing. The hot tub felt great after hiking at near by Giant City. The whole cabin was decked out with Lord of the Rings/ Hobbit stuff. They also left us a beautiful cake to celebrate. We will definitely be back and recommend to many people!
Every amenity is here. We brought things like coffee and grill tools but it was ALL thoughtfully here. The space is cute. The bed & linens are comfy. The hot tub was great. Being walking distance to Blue Sky's wine and entertainment was an unexpected bonus. 10/10 perfect weekend.
Awesome experience! The staff is amazing. I am afraid of heights, but the guides made me feel safe and secure so I enjoyed the whole trip! Brock and Kate were so informative and fun!! We will definitely be back! And we are bringing our kids this time
Giant City State Park is AWESOME! Not much has changed since my first visit 35 yrs ago, and that is what makes it AMAZING. Its beautiful, hiking paths and everything else you would expect in a state park. But wait, there's more. The Lodge at Giant
A wonderful place in a beautiful, scenic State Park. We enjoyed the family style fried chicken dinner on Thanksgiving. Excellent server, delicious food and I had the cherry crumble for dessert. Perfect if you didn't want to cook for 2. The atmosphere
