We went for junior business event. My daughter was there on behalf of the rescue she started Hickman hollow farm. The place is beautiful and full of historic information and old buildings. They have tours gardens and events all the time. The people are friendly there is tons of parking. When we were there they even had food trucks. I would definitely check it out if u are in the area but I would call to see what events are being held first.
What an amazing treasure to explore. Come explore the Rockwood Museum and Gardens, a historic home turned museum that showcases local history, architecture, and art. The museum features a stunning garden, a fine art collection, and a historic home. Don't miss out on the chance to experience it for yourself.
Such a beautiful peaceful place... the Mansion is beautiful on the outside... we wished that the spooky trails were a Lil more, but over all a fun time.. the walking trails and the grounds are well kept and dog friendly!!❤️♥️
Beautiful House built in 1850s and modeled after a house in Wyncote near Liverpool, England. We enjoyed looking at all the rooms, it was still decorated for Christmas which made it more charming. The guide told us lots of interesting facts about the families that lived there - the Shipleys and the Bringhursts. I especially loved the staircase and the conservatory and second floor atrium off the bedroom. The gardens and trails looked nice but it was a cold day so we’ll have to go back another time for that. Entrance fee was only $10 for self-guided tour. Check website for days they are open.
Nice little park and mansion, definitely worth the visit. Clean, well maintained and nice trail markings. Beautiful Christmas display and lights
Went on a free Sunday and enjoyed a self guided tour of the house. The grounds have lots of nice walking trails too.

This museum is so well done. They had a lot of interesting artifacts and explanations covering a range of state history. The best thing, though, was the section on black history in DE. Absolutely well done! I learned things that I have never heard be
Although I was only a member at 9 Round for a brief period (due to change in job situation), I would highly recommend them! I was brand new to kickboxing, and the staff here were welcoming, open to explaining the process, and made it a comfortable en
Enjoyed our first visit here. Friendly and efficient staff. Pleasantly surprised how quickly our order was ready. Food was delicious although a bit too salty. Although limited space, they've managed to provide a nice window bar with seating which fel
UNBELIEVABLE. We stopped here for the first time while traveling from Delaware to NY. It's in a space with other food places (a big food court), but just go straight to these guys! The food was SO DELICIOUS with every bite. We ordered the Chickn Sand
Oh how I love the menu, the ingredients, the employees, and the atmosphere. I just fill out my order on a piece of paper and hand it over to the server. May I say, she knew how to hook me up! Because, in my experience, I've never received a poke bowl
First visited Sleeping Bird shortly after they opened a few years ago. Unfortunately my schedule precludes me from being able to stop here. Today my schedule changed and we were able to come back. Sleeping Bird is in my top 10 coffee shops, if not m
Very high quality for a single stand operation, with consistent options across the board. Every meal I've had here I thoroughly enjoyed. It is difficult to remember to take pictures as it usually gone before my phone comes out. Being a small busines
Different cheesesteak #1062 in the last five years. I have been driving by Joey Tâs and seeing his âBest of Delaware' banners for years but never had cash or there was a line. The stars aligned the other day and I stopped. I was going to get t
I love walking here. I try to get on the trail every chance I can. Lots of other people exercising, walking their pets, jogging, riding bikes. It's scenic and beautiful. Fresh air and just a great place to be. This is my wellness getaway.
This playground features different age-appropriated play sets and also a large sandpit with toys in it. With trees and covers, you can still take a break in the shade during summer playtime. Play structures are well maintained and interesting. Parkin
