Parking a little tough under free way but cute little park with two sides to play in

Nice park but a major highway runs over it. A small dog enclosure and a basketball court sits under this highway, and a small amount of street parking is available. There is also a short bike path towards the DMV and the Temescal neighborhood.

Nice little park that had a little bit of everything. Slides, play structures, a spinning thing the kids can get on and be twirled all around, swings, sand play area, basketball area, lots of grass, and a beautiful scenic trail that leads to the DMV. It's a hidden gem for sure.

My new favorite playground. : ) so many things you can do. My boy loved there.

I went to play basketball, there weren't many people, there was a basketball court. Empty place suitable for picnic There is also a playground for children to play. The parking lot is enough to find even though there are not many.

Love this place, except the under-the-highway location. I wouldn't take my dog here-- yuck! But I do visit the playground as it's not completely under the freeway/train. The play structures are wooden, nice to look at but hard to watch toddlers if their popping in & out of the structures. Lots of communal toys left for kiddos to play with here and a couple tables for picnicking.

This is our favorite playground in Berkely or North Oakland. Unlike the cookie cutter plastic playground which seem to be the norm, this is sturdy timber structure with tons of features and miss anything crannies to explore. There is a separate area for smaller tots, as well a great sand box. My son's favorites are the suspension bridge and the wooden steam engine.

Very cute playground. Playset had lots to run about with twists and turns so lots of fun. The spinning roundabout/merry-go-round with the climbing gym is also lots of fun but can be dangerous so watch the kids carefully. Playground could use more big kid swings.

On a lazy Sunday morning, it can be a real good place to sit down and just have some alone time. Not the best sights nor it is quiet, it's next to the Port Of Oakland after all, it does offer that unique solitude.

I have walked my dogs in the past. A very peaceful and serene place. I enjoy the fresh air. Most people with their dogs are on the leash. They are responsible for their dogs. I haven't been their in a while. So hopefully nothing has changed.
