Super clean and maintained beach. If you ever want to see a sunset or sunrise, this is an awesome place to come check out. With most air b&b's in walking distance, this beach will be my annual vacation get away.. check out the local food vendors there on the beach and hit up some of the early morning coffee shops. Fun ,fun, fun, relaxing and beautiful...
Love this little beach. It gets busy on the weekends durring the summer but the water is shallow and the waves are small so its nice for little kids. The water here can get really warm durring the summer so if you are looking to cool off you might try the saltwater pool at the end of the beach or the community pool.
For a 10$ fee this is a not a good place to relax. There are too many bothering mosquitos, seagulls and ants. Not crowded.
It's nice to see the wide sea. I accept tickets, but I liked the clean surroundings. It was windy and I liked the right weather. a pleasure trip
We just hung out at the free beach for 2 days in a row and had a blast! Great beach for smaller kids since it isn't as deep. Will definitely be back!
Feel in love with this place! The beach is clean, the facilities clean as well. Grills, restrooms, showers, playgrounds, volleyball nets, fishing deck, available, No rental necessary, day pass is $5. So quiet and relaxing!! Just beautiful!!!
Really great family friendly beach. I would do a 4.5 if I could! Shallow water with tons of sand bars. Good close parking. An adult beverage shack. The only thing I would have loved fixed was the women's showers. Out of 5 only 1 was working when we went in yesterday evening. Sooo nice to be able to rinse off before you head out. $10 fee for entry or $40 for the year. They stopped collecting fees after 7 pm on Friday
This was a great area with several options of places to set up for the day. We went on a weekday, and it was pretty empty, not crowded at all. The area was pretty clean and kept up. They also have area for the migrant birds. They sit on the road and hang out like no big deal lol. But be careful not to run them over... they don't move out of the way, and you could get hit with a hefty fine! Part of the bay they have a shore made up of shells, large shells. I highly recommend wearing water shoes if you plan to walk in that area. My kiddos walked in the water and thought they saw a jelly fish (it wasnt) but the got spooked and ran out of their Slippers and ran on the shells and got cut up really bad that we had to head to a clinic to get cleaned up and bandaged. So use our mistake to save you time and injury lol. We plan to come back and spend a day once their cuts are healed. Great for all ages. Family time, or alone time. Lovely area! We also saw a cute little park for kiddos. We did pay $10 to enter, which isn't bad at all considering if you plan to spend the day. Or I believe $45 for the year! So not bad at all. Wish I got more photos to share, but we didn't stay long lol.
