We are beginning members of Rockford Academy of Tae-Kwon-Do and so far we have been pleased with the program. Master An is great with the kids and has given us ample time to try out the program before making a commitment. My five and seven year old are learning a lot in their weekly class. It's been great exercise for them.
Great place to learn Tae-kwon-do at. Master An will try his very best to help you reach your fitness goals. I’ve return to the art/way 4 yrs. ago. Enjoying myself very much. I’m in my best shape since 25-30 years ago. Try your best and you can reach these goals too no matter your age.

Our experience here has been an amazing one. From the first time we walked in expressing interest and them letting my son try out some kicks and things before choosing to sign up to every single class we have attended it has been positive. They watch each student as well as the people who accompany them to gauge interest and engagement. It is a very welcoming place and I cannot wait to see my child advance with the help of Master An and Mister Matt as well as any others who help along the way.
My children have learned a lot while practicing tae-. kwon-do here. They have been homeschooled for most of their lives and really don’t know how to defend themselves against bullies (should they ever need to). This school has given them the confidence they were too afraid to have before. They have transitioned to yellow belts in a timely manner I can’t wait to see how far they go.
My daughter loves the little ninja program! She looks forward to it every week. She is very shy and not into team sports, so this is perfect for her. Master An and Mr Matt are friendly and very patient with the kids. Her confidence and self esteem has improved and she is more outgoing and social, thanks to Rockford Academy.
Our 5 year old son is doing amazing in Master An’s little ninja class. It has helped with his anxieties, he’s listening better, and achieving in more aspects in his life. We can’t wait to see Kane prosper so much more. We can’t thank Master An or Master Matt enough.
Master An and Mr. Matt are solid, reliable and patient leaders in the little ninjas class. They help teach my boys respect, hard work and confidence. The instructors keep the boys engaged throughout the class. My boys love both instructors and their whole experience with Rockford Academy!
Master An and Master Matt are amazing teachers . They listen to Your needs and teach accordingly. This place has a place for everyone . Everyone is treated with Respect . It is such a great learning environment . If you don’t know something, or are doing a move wrong , everyone is willing to jump in and make sure you do learn it without feeling bad and how to do it correctly . This Place has giving my son confidence and that Yes I Can attitude that is so amazing to see . I would Highly recommend this academy .IT shows respect , confidence , perseverance, and inclusiveness . Amazing job . Can’t wait to see what else this Academy can do for our Son .
