Excellent seafood! We ordered plain old fish and chips and volcano shrimp for appetizers. The fish and chips I'd rate a 8/10 of the fish was better quality (fish is pollack) it would be higher. They did the best they could with that fish though and it was good. The volcano shrimp was of the charts good.. jalapeno Hush puppies were awesome. The loaded new potatoes are some of the best I've ever eaten! Service was very good and prices good for seafood. Highly recommended!

First of all, our waiter, Johnny was awesome!! He was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the food on the menu. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We will most definitely be back! P.S. we ordered 2 rounds of cocktails, which is why our tab was higher than "normal" 😁

No crowd on Saturday 2pm. Good service. Food was delicious, we got the Cajun Pasta, shrimp and grits and the Santa Fe tacos. The brownie with icecream was so good! This is one of our go-to places for Cajun food.

Had awesome oysters, Mahi Mahi fish plus brownie dessert with a great waiter. 👍 loved it

You will have a job removing meat from the crab clusters. They were boiled to long and too soft to crack. But the crab meet was delicious. I ordered an extra cluster expecting what I would get, small clusters. Several shrimp were not deveined and had crud in them. The Bomb appetizers were great. The beer was exceptionally cold. Service was pretty good. The place was nice and clean. Good atmosphere.

My parents came into town and wanted to take my husband and me out to dinner. Our first choice was closed due to moving, so we scrambled and I picked here as it was down the road from their hotel. The food was good, especially for suburban dining (I mean this as a compliment, I swear). We weren't expecting the very best of Dallas, but we wanted better than Applebee's, and it definitely delivered. The best thing about dinner was our amazing server, Dan. He was knowledgeable about the menu, patient with our questions, and attentive to our needs. Trust me when I say that we are a lot to handle, but Dan did it with grace and a smile, and became a part of the family. Thank you for the wonderful service, evening, and experience!

Came to this location on 5/4 for the peel n eat shrimp with the $4 Hurricane. I got the garlic & butter. It was okay but needed more seasoning. I added some hot sauce to give it more of a taste. Hurricane Drink was ok. Service was mediocre. The waitress never refilled our drinks, she never ask me would I like another hurricane drink after I had finished it. She attempted to take our plates when I wasn't even done. I asked her why would you think in finished my food, clearly she could see I had about 10 shrimp left and a potato. So in that moment I felt rushed The waitress maybe wasn't experience she didn't read the table, drinks needed to be filled. The other party at the table had an empty plate. She should've grab that plate, she didn't. She should have also ask did I need another drink. Empress Moders this was a mediocre experience for me. 👎

I really enjoyed the shrimp and grits with a side of greens! The portion was plentiful. The bartender was friendly and I highly recommend this local seafood restaurant. They have a good happy hour menu too!
