Mike and Annette are simply wonderful!!! You feel like family the minute you check in. All sites have terrific views, laundry is clean and trailer parking is locked every night. We have fishing kayaks that we tied up to the stairs/wall but there is a dock. Everyone was so nice! Super clean park and the bridge walk with the swings was awesome for pictures. They have a barrel train and it is so dang cute! Highly recommend and we will definitely come back when our travels bring us close. Thank you Mike and Annette for everything. 💛
Hands down the friendliest staff I’ve experienced at any campground in this country! Mike and Annette go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and have a wonderful time. I’ve never had anyone other than a nearby camper or an exhausted spouse help me back in to a spot before, so thanks for that Mike! If you want to visit a family friendly campground on the lake with stairs leading down to the water, a small marina for a boat, and a quaint general store with nearly everything you could need this is the perfect spot for you! I foolishly waited until the last minute to scramble to find a spot over Labor Day weekend and Annette had no issue not only getting us booked, but ensuring we were met with smiles upon arrival. Side note the HEB is only a 15 minute drive from the campground. There are several attractions nearby in a short driving distance and the scenic routes you take to get there make it feel like you have visited the true heart of the hill country.
This is a hidden gem on Inks Lake. Lots of shade, great views of the lake and every spot is right on the water. The host Mike and Annette are awesome. They go above and beyond to help make your stay great. I’m looking forward to our next visit.
Beautiful RV park right on the water with amazing sunrises and sunsets. Awesome Camp Hosts, Mike and Annette, are experts at whatever your needs are. Book today ... you won't be disappointed.
I was hoping to drop my kayak on the water's edge and park off-site, but they wanted to charge me a $20 boat ramp fee. Maybe if I had a registered boat and trailer, sure, but i don't see any reason to pay $20 to walk across 10ft of grass with a kayak over my shoulder to access public waters. It seemed pretty stingy to me.
Terrible customer service. I have called 4 times to try to get an answer and still have not received a call from the manager or the owner. Horrendous cancelation fee, btw! There are many other beautiful RV parks with much better customer service and customer friendly cancelation policies, so don't stop here.
Mike and his wife were very helpful and highly visible making security efficient.
Great night move, great setting and the fireworks across the lake were and added treat!
I would have to say the best get away place in this area. Mike and Annette are the best host. Friday a storm passed by and they both checked on the campers during and after the storm. The next morning they both worked hard at restoring the park and cleaning up all the debris. Definitely made new friends and cant wait to return and spend more time with both of them. Thanks so much for everything Trey and Ruby.
One of the best cliff jumping for beginners and intermediate.
The hike is pretty and well kept. Two ways to get to the cliffs. Swim to it or hike.
Family loved it.
Well maintained park area and helpful employees. Rentals are available even though we brought our own kayak. Don't know how much rentals are, but for my wife and I to enter the day use area, it cost $14. Dogs must be kept on leash.

Cool place to visit and get up close with some classic military aircraft. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, I highly recommend checking this place out!
We had the most wonderful vacation at Log Country Cove! We stayed at Manda Shae (the duplex). The cabin was gorgeous and had everything we needed. It was right by an inlet of the lake with big oak trees shading the front. My daughter (4) loved the ha
We got there a bit late today due to the Lonhorn Caverns. Its worth the trip to come to this little town to see the history of the fort and there are a lot of old buildings. From the outside driving by, it doesnt look like much, but once you go in,

I love this place! Their food is so good, and they have that "at home" feeling that's just right. The perfect comfort food for when you want a full meal.
The waitresses are so nice and social, too.
Great place and delicious food. Best meal we have eaten out in a while. Great menu selection and candy store inside with all kinds of cool candy, taffy, jerky and bottled soda.
