Great for walking, running, biking, food, drink, music, sunrise, sunsets, and everything in between. Awesome to be by the ocean!
Spent an afternoon here relaxing. Cool boardwalk with lots play areas for kids as well. Parking can be tricky but not impossible.
It's hard to believe that this place was almost wiped out by Superstorm Sandy a few years ago, but they did an amazing job of restoring it. The boardwalk is spacious and clean, with plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the ocean view. There are also bike lanes for those who want to pedal along the coast, and water fountains to keep you hydrated. If you get hungry, there are some restaurants open during the summer, serving delicious seafood and snacks. There are also many playgrounds and sports courts along the boardwalk, so you can have some fun with your family or friends. The boardwalk is a great place to relax and have fun, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach getaway.
This is a great place for walking, roller skating and cycling. very clean, quiet, beautiful scenery. There are a lot of benches just to admire the ocean. I really love this place and here, much better than in Brighton ☺️😇
One of our favorite places to walk at dusk, watching the sun go down over the ocean.
This is one of the area's that they are still fixing up from Big Sandy! It's between 32nd Street & 58th Street along the semi new (Boardwalk) beach walk that was finished in 2016-17. This area has always been, as far as I know. From the mid 80's until current, beach land such as small tree's, bushes, grass, sand, and area's of illegally dumped garbage. They have made small attempts of doing things in the area in the past in which was a waste of money! Such as where you see the Heavy Equipment was a under kept no light basketball park. If you want to call it that? And most wouldn't come down this far at night, before they built the houses along the beach 61st. to 73rd st. 72 st. was the turn around for alot of joggers and bike riders from uptown. I can understand that! It didn't bother me since I'm from the hood! LoL, I guess things are looking up?

Jacob Riis Park in Rockaway is a natural gem on the outskirts of New York City. With its 50 acres of lush woods, this park offers a serene escape from the urban hustle and bustle. The dense foliage creates a picturesque setting for hiking, picnicking
Iâm a spring baby and this park was my haven this year. So many interesting surprises along my hike through it. One of my little gems. Itâs clean and never crowded. I spot blue jays and other colorful birds and wild cats. Feels great being wrap
If you have small kids, donât even think of going to other beaches at Far Rockaway but here. Iâve been taking my kids here every summer since 2018 and Iâve always found a parking spot for free right next to the playground. We ONLY go on weekday
One of the smaller parks out here, yet its fairly well kept and shown to be a great place to hangout or even take a small walk around before you head back home.
Attended the park on Sunday evening for an event called the Dope Day Party. It goes from 3-pm - 10 pm. Got there around 7:30 and had a hard time finding parking. You can park on premises but at 7:30 when we got there the lot was full. Had a GREAT tim

Great shop, always well supplied with all the varieties of smoke product and well priced. And most importantly lots of Nepali snacks and a truly exceptional service, above and beyond.
The workers are extremely nice peopleâ¦the food is tasty and flavorful. This was my second time eating here but my first time going in person and just meeting the people who work inside makes you want to go back⦠Check them out !
