Rock Springs / Green River KOA Journey - Campground in Rock Springs - 86 Foothill Blvd, USA

We stayed here just one night passing thru. We have a big rig & tow. The spots were barely long enough. I dislike alternating direction of pull ins- so your rig's front door faces your neighbors front door- you share front porch space. Luckily we had an end spot facing the office. Seems like an older park. Small store. They can make you a pizza which we did & was pretty good.

We have stayed here twice (2023 & 2024) during a cross country road trip as a quick 1-2 day stop. During summer it has a pool, offers pizza for order, nice bathroom, shower, laundry facilities, dog park area. We had the KOA private patio which was very nice to eat dinner outside and allow the dogs to be off leash. The downtown area is a quick drive. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Enjoyed our stay here. RV sites were pull-through and the driveway was roomy (no issues pulling in/out). They had a nice dog park as well as a kid's park (and a pool that we didn't get to try out). Close to the city and there's a gas station with wide RV pumps just down the road.

Pros: nice bathrooms.. 3 stalls with 3 showers with hot water. People are nice Cons: view and scenery sucks and you want to get any sleep at least in a tent you will have a hard time sleeping due to all you hear is traffic since it's close toa busy highway. Pool is small. If you want to do anything you have to travel several hours!

KOA Rock Springs is conveniently located for a stop over. Basic accommodations. Guest service persons were very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I stayed in Deluxe Cabin 3. Evidently this cabin has flooded and was incorrectly repaired. The sub floor near bathroom is squishy which normally indicates mold. I realize it is marketed as a cabin, however it should be clean, safe and in good repair. Furnishings were welcoming and comfortable. The community bathrooms were clean and ample. My relatives stayed in RV spot and were satisfied with the services provided. Thank you

You share the area in front of your trailer with your neighbor. The picnic tables are right next to each other. There are weeds everywhere. They don’t care about the upkeep of the park. Not one tree. Okay for a quick sleep and move on, but we probably would have gone elsewhere had we seen this park first.

This KOA campground is located right behind a bulk yard for gas. It smells in the camp... The staff is very helpful and nice. We were there for 8 days. So they put us in the extended stay . With the construction workers.. we didn't get a picnic table after we asked for one. The grounds are grown up in this section also.and all gravel. And weeds. The photos on the website is not how it is when you arrive. I thought KOA had certain standards to meet.

Pros: Excellent location. Staffs were friendly & helpful. Even the long term residents had polite & courteous children. Very clean & spacious. We especially like the enclosed patio which we highly recommend. RV sites are spacious with access easy. Despite it being remote, we felt very safe. The best part is restaurants, Walmart, Home Depot & fast food joints are within distances without going to the freeway. Dog Park was clean. Yes, we will be returning. Con: The weather was windy with sudden rain. No tourist attractions nearby. Maybe a couple more dog bags dispensers would help.
