Friendly service with an old time feel to the place. Good selection of food and ice cream and it didn't take long to make it to our table. Only thing missing would be a jukebox to make this place complete.
I am from out of town and picked up my nephew for a few errands. Once we were done, I asked where the best place for ice cream in Ottumwa is. He told me Rock N Roll Dairy Bar. I had never been there, so we tried it out. I got a turtle sundae, and it was amazing. I’m not really a vanilla fan, but I could get excited about a bowl of their vanilla ice cream. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in town again!
The staff is very friendly and professional. My son and I started with the Raceway, which was just so much fun for us. Then we headed inside to look at the menu, great selection. We got our items brought out to us in no time. While enjoying our ice cream we decided to do the go-karts again. Lmao was a blast and will return on the future.

Traveling from Alaska, I had to have a tenderloin sandwich! Someone told this was the place to get it and I'm thankful for the advice. Great sandwich at a great price. Staff was friendly and the food was done fast. So tasty. I think I wolfedit down in even less time than the speedy service. Decor is very old school diner. Wonderful place. If the drive-thru wait doesn't tell you anything.....then my review will. The shakes, malts, and frozen treats are amazing. Fried pickles and hamburgers are great. That's all I have tried from there, but sure the rest of the food is good too. Everything has been made fresh to-go.... With no complaints.
We were excited to find a locally owned place that serves turtle sundaes! They were good. Looking forward to checking out more of what they have to offer!
