Most city parks have good trails, but Rock Meadows has it all. Pathways and trails that navigate swamp, ridges, hills, riverbeds, forests and meadows. There is also a pitoresque Victory Gardens by one of the entrances.

Nice mix of woods and meadow. Kid enjoys some special spots like the "secret swings". Swings are on wide path to left of community gardens. There's also a path down with big steps from end of parking lot near the portapotty.

My wife and I used to be used to not be fans of this place but as we have explored more and more it has endless trails and beautiful scenery. Would recommend as one of the best local places to casually hike. The colors in the fall are spectacular. If it has rained recently it can get muddy, but generally a great spot. You can walk through meadows, tree covered trails. Some trails are wide open (10ft across), while others are one person wide.

Beautiful place with lots of walking trails. Not many parking spaces, so consider walking to it if possible. Learn from my mistakes, and do not approach the beehives even in the spirit of utmost innocent curiosity.

I was looking for a place to walk in nature and this park is great for snow shoes and cross country in the winter, not so much for walking. The only path that you can find are the ones made by the above. Beautiful park parking is minimal.

Rock Meadow is popular for hikers and mountain bikers. It offers a good set of trails that are convenient to metro Boston, and is the beginning of the little-known Western Greenway, with miles of trails. It's at least 12 miles if you just ride the whole Greenway end-to-end, and if you take side paths, many times more than that. You could hike or bike only in Rock Meadow many times and cover different trails each time, The Western Greenway greatly expands that territory. Rock Meadow is also adjacent to Lone Tree Hill, and in turn to Audobon's Habitat. The hiking and biking potential of all of these areas combined might even rival Middlesex Fells.

We have a shared garden spot and love it!

Beautiful community garden and apiary. Dusk hits the large field beautifully. Great for a quick local walk. Some mountain biking but doesn't interrupt the main walking paths.

Such a gorgeous park! There is large spray deck and playground. Behind the playground, there is a bridge that cuts through a creek. Children love playing there, and catching and releasing crayfish. There are also plenty to trails to stroll. Definitel

This is my daughter and I's FAVORITE park! I first began taking her here when she was a baby and I, a new mother. I would put her in her stroller and we would take our time walking down the asphalt path which surrounds the main park. It is an easy wa

Great cafe with plenty of room and seating. The seating and bar lines the window with street view for some nice smiles and possible sun depending on weather. The meal was filling and much different from any cafe I've been to. Never have I seen sweet
