Had our family picnic there. Great place, just wish there would have been a kitchen wash sink instead of a bubbler inside so we could have washed up our dishes before we left too.
Nice park. We rented the larger shelter. Great size but just so you know...there is no refrigerator like some shelters have. Lots of tables inside and outside. Lots of parking. Nice bathrooms.
I took my dog to Rochester Park and it was a fantastic experience. They dog area was clear and had some great folks (and their dogs) inside. The other owners were rather respectful. The lawn was nice and mowed and they had a few benches to sit down. The rules are clearly posted for the dogs. We also noted some kayakers utilizing the park (fantastic). Overall this is a great place to get outdoors and a bonus for us dog owners.

This well kept park has everything! Plenty of wide open spaces, tennis courts, Basketball courts, Frisbee disc golf course, kid's playground with outdoor equipment, lots of walking/running paths, some of those down by the river!
Also let's not forget the inside building (perfect for a party in good or bad weather) with it's attached covered outdoor pavilion and the clean (daily) restrooms.
Like to grill? Check out the large concrete patio with plenty of picnic tables.
I have recently come to love Rochester Park! Today I took the kids sledding/tubing and it was a great time. I also noticed that they had a small outdoor ice skating rink as well. This past summer they also put in a great frisbee gold course that could possibly contend with one of the best in the area. They also have tennis & basketball courts, volleyball and a baseball field as well as a small soccer field.
Beautiful new disc golf course right along the river. Kids playground. Pavilion you can rent. River access/kayak landing. Basketball courts. Tennis courts. Baseball diamond. Big and small dog parks. Sledding hill & bathrooms.

Great big park. Lots of space. But the lights never work at night for tennis courts or the basketball court. Can someone fix that please lol something about playing under the lights
Nice park w/ small disc golf course... Lots of families and children not to mention former dog park :-) unfortunately, many of the disc targets have been stolen... :-(

What a great place to visit. You might not see a ton of planes, but the history is there. The guide was pleasant and kind and knew enough. I like this place and it's at an airport so you get to watch planes takeoff and land throughout your time
