Awesome, awesome place. So much to see. Montessori/natural vibe-type play area inside and out and tons of cool animal displays for the kids to see. Would definitely come again. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the staff weren't particularly friendly, but it wasn't a big deal.
Kids loved it here! The indoor play area didn’t have too many activities for the older kids (3+) but the baby section was super cute and on theme. The exhibits were nice and we even saw a room that had bees you can see through the glass. The outdoor space was amazing too, there is a mud kitchen, swings hanging from trees and a little music spot. My kids also enjoyed the woods. building blocks. Overall a great experience.
Another Howard County gem! I just renewed my annual membership (thanks for senior rate); or you can pay small one-time admission fee for your visit. Staff members are friendly and enthusiastic. Besides birds, I've been looking for butterflies here for our county survey, run by members of the Howard County Bird Club. Wildflower gardens around the main building are amazing and attract a lot of butterflies and other pollinators. I was excited to find a great spangled fritillary yesterday. Trails in the woods with views of the river are wonderful -- constantly singing in summer are wood thrush, wood-pewee, towhee....
My 4 year old had a great time here. His favorite was feeding the fishes and watching the train. My wife and I loved it as well. It's also a beautiful place to take pictures. Highly recommend visiting at least once.
This is a great nature center. They have 2 floors of exhibits of both nature and history in the area. My favorite part was about the nocturnal animals. It has a playroom for kids and a quiet room if needed. The staff were all helpful and friendly. They also have gardens of native plants and great trails. I also got to see mill ruins on the property. They are not part of the American horticultural society but the cost is only $5.
A great learning center with multiple hands-on pieces. The staff is knowledgeable and we experienced an awesome turtle and snake show-and-tell. The hidden beehive is a fun find. There are multiple trails to wander and a small play area outside to get excessive kids energy out.
We recently had my son’s birthday party at Robinson Nature Center and it was great! First, the staff was incredibly nice, accommodating and knowledgeable! Next, my 5-year old son is very interested in dinosaurs so we opted for the excavation option which entailed of a (brief) hike through the woods, followed by digging in a raised bed for dino bones and toys. After that, we had a whole classroom to ourselves for lunch and cake, followed by a brief self-guided tour through the nature maze on the property. There was also another room where they had fish and turtles on display that was open to the paying customers. A great trip for little ones!
This place was so great! We went in the winter so I'm sure it's even more beautiful when everything is in full bloom. We plan on returning! They had a fantastic exhibit inside with lots of facts for children. My little one wasn't as interested in this but I'm sure within a year it would be a hit. Then you can go out and follow the trails. These were wonderful with lots of things to see and eventually led you to a river which we enjoyed watching. There were lots of picnic tables outside for eating. They also had such a fun outside 'playground' with hammocks, outdoor kitchen, instruments, slide, and just lots of space. We really loved it and can't 2ait to go back!

This was expected and awesome. I have no idea why there was no crowd - it can only be because not enough people know that the Cafe Columbia is here. Great coffee. And the crepe with banana, strawberry, and Nutella was a work of art. It was a nice, r

This was our first visit to the Stanford Grill. We had a very enjoyable lunch with great food and great service on a Wednesday afternoon. We had the tomato basil soup ($10.00 each), the Rattlesnake Pasta ($21.90) and the Kent Island Fish Sandwich ($2

Get the "all you can eat" during the week. Great value. Restaurant was spotless. Service was spot on. The meats were too numerous to show. High quality and large portions. Here are a few side dishes, very tasty. Can't wait to return.
Great first experience at House of India! Food: For an appetizer we had the vegetable samosas. They came out hot and had excellent flavor. We ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala and the Lamb Biryani for the entrees. The meat used in the Lamb Biryani tas

I will only give 5 stars if it's really warranted. And today it was totally warranted. This place is so much fun. Way better then your usual trampoline gym. They have obstacles that will challenge you but will is still fun and engaging. They have thi
