Amazing space with surprisingly pretty decent acoustics. SF Opera in the Park was glorious this afternoon. If you've never gone and you live in the Bay Area, you definitely should!

Just a standard open space for people to gather! Very clean! We got to see the drum circle by Hippie Hill which was so cool… Good vibes. Wish there was some kind of memorial plaque or something for Robin Williams, but he might not have wanted that anyway ❤️
This place is oozing with hippie vibes. There are often peace signs drawn on the pavement and the lawn often hosts drum circles. This place is awesome for a walk or, especially, a picnic.
Less crowded than most other meadows in GG park. It's 10 minutes by foot to most of the shops in Haight if you want to grab some food or drinks.
Great location for walk around. It has the feeling of the Central Park of New York. There is a very good play ground for kids.
Awesome enclave in the most eastern part (near the Haight Street shops for tourists) of GG Park. This area, I believe, is also called "Hippie Hill" where 1970's history is prominent. On the park benches you'll often hear local musicians play percussion with a 'sweet smell' in the air.
