Roasted Garlic - Restaurant in Pittsfield - 483 W Housatonic St, USA

We live approximately 35 mins from Roasted Garlic and placed our order to go. We started with the whole roasted garlic head and tomatoes with crostini, as well as the garlic knots and dipping sauce. 1. The roasted garlic and roasted tomatoes were so tasty and flavorful. Absolutely delicious. However, the crostini was so burnt/charred that it was too hard to even bite into (harder than a crouton), and, the burnt flavor overpowered the taste of the garlic and tomatoes. We threw the crostini away and just ate on the roasted veggies. See photos attached. 2. The garlic knots were also burnt/charred too much, but ironically, still completely raw dough on the inside. Were talking malleable, 100% raw dough. These unfortunately went straight into the garbage. We couldn't pop them in the oven to cook them anymore bec they were so burnt on the outside and the burnt taste was so bitter. See photo attached. Next, we ordered a lasagna dinner, a Margherita pizza, and, the fried chicken sandwich. 1. The lasagna had great flavor and the sauce was delicious. However, it tasted old and reheated unfortunately. It came with a garden salad that was fresh and yummy. 2. The Margherita pizza was way too charred for our liking. Yes, we know its wood fired pizza. We have a wood fired pizza oven ourselves and know how the pizzas come out a bit darker. However, this was just too burnt. Including the bottom. All you could taste was the bitter char. Not enough sauce to even remotely try to help out. 3. The chicken sandwich was decent. Chicken was very dry but the flavors were good and the jalapeno coleslaw was delicious. All in all, it was a pretty wasteful, bad experience and we wont be returning.

Always have received a delicious pizza until today. Burnt on the bottom. And you could taste it. Asked for ranch and hot sauce on the side. None in the box. And how do you get 7 slices out of a pizza.

OMG, I don't know where to start!!! I had the roasted garlic with bread and roasted tomatoes as an appetizer. I wanted to try the jelly deviled eggs, but they were sold out. I ordered the Mickey Burger, and it was fabulous. They use grass fed beef, and you can tell. The quality of the food is top notch at reasonable prices. I brought home a pizza for later. Can't remember the name of it, but it was topped with arugula. It was a hit even with my daughter, who tells me salad is not a typing for pizza. 🤣

The place seems very noisy/not feom music but just bad acoustics. Woodfire pizza – giving it excellent taste, but the toppings were little on the skimpy side. Overall OK ..

Awesome place all around. We came on a weekday afternoon. Wasn’t too busy, yet lots of table seated. They GF options! Food was very good. The restaurant is clean and looks all updated. The patio is gorgeous! With enough shade for daytime outdoor eating. Staff was friendly. Try the hand cut chips with the garlic mayo. Our family enjoyed this place. We’re not local but we’d go back.

Nice gathering place. Had lunch here with friends. Service was excellent, very attentive. Food was good...roasted garlic and cherry tomatoes on toast for starters, lasagna (big portions), veggie burger, and salads. All fresh and tasty.

I found myself in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and needed a place for an early dinner. This was a wonderful meal from start to finish. Not a single bad bite. And the service was excellent. I had the fried calamari as an appetizer and it was almost like a salad. The calamari was light and crunchy and served on a bed of arugula with a topping of roasted tomatoes, roasted garlic, peppers and basil with olive oil. Not with the traditional marinara sauce. It was tangy, a little bit spicy, and perfect. I also had the eggplant sandwich. It was topped with roasted tomatoes and arugula and a balsamic dressing. It was so good! For dessert I had the s’mores pie which was decadent and rich. These people know what they are doing when it comes to serving original and tasty food. Every plate that went past me on its way to other tables looked fantastic.

The place was crowded but our service was excellent because Vickie was cheerful, fun and attentive. She paid close attention to our special requests. They are lucky to have her. Food was fantastic and served quickly.
