Roaring Brook Ranch Resort - Resort hotel in Lake George - 2206 State Hwy 9N, USA

They have shut down for the summer. We have our daughter's wedding in July and all our guests that were traveling from all over the country had reservations. As well as a band we hired for an after hour party there. They did not have the decency to ever speak with us. They just started cancelling everyone's reservations a month before the wedding. We had to drive up there and find out from a construction worker. To this day there has never been any communication. Very unprofessional and unethical. If they reopen I would never trust that they will be dependable. Terrible to deal with. Only giving a star because I have to. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

The staff at Roaring Brook was very gracious and welcoming for a senior high school trip, a full week before opening. Hardeep has a great plan in motion to return Roaring Brook to its former glory - the hotel is coming back and the rooms were wonderful up the hill, a perfect location to all things Lake George Village.

TERRIBLE customer service, book 10 plus rooms for a family vacation for August,2024. All our reservations were canceled with no notice, no explanation and no follow up phone call, even after many many calls, voicemail & emails.

We stayed here last weekend and had a great time, the host was great and friendly, shared with us his vision for the place since he is the new owner as of 90 days ago. The place is going to amazing according to his vision and intentions for the renovations. The pool was really clean. The bed and room were very comfortable. The camp fire and s’amores with the other guests was fun. When we are back in the area this will be the place we plan on staying. We recommend to others to stay here and enjoy and the amenities available, more to come in 2024.

Wonderful experience, plan to book another stay here soon! The host was very accommodating and helpful. The horseback riding was really fun and had beautiful mountain views, and the riding instructors were kind, professional, and great with kids. The room was very clean and comfortable, and had a great air conditioner. Location was very accessible to all the cute areas of Lake George. Would absolutely recommend!

We spent only a day at this resort and I wish it could have been longer! Went with hubby and friends to celebrate my birthday and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, completely updated. The pool area was brand new and a great place to relax and get some sun. So much to do here! Seeing the horses grazing in the field was a treat and I love the grounds themselves with majestic pines and the fragrance of the Adirondacks puts me at peace. There's a firepit to enjoy in the evening and the sunrise from the rocking chair in the morning made for a perfect coffee time. I did not want to leave. The new owners are absolute gems, you can't find nicer and more accommodating people in this world and we are changed from just meeting them because they are a gracious combination of dynamic and generous, hardworking and attentive. The best hosts you could have and an inspiration to talk to them about their vision for this beautiful property. Do not miss an opportunity to spend time here...we can't wait to return!

This is a big, beautiful, rustic resort that is away from the maddening crowd, yet within minutes to all of the excitement of Lake George Village, the Factory Outlets, and the Great Escape Amusement Park. When we entered the property, there was a corral full of horses grazing in the sunlight. We could hear the laughter of children in the distance and there was a lovely pond surrounded by pretty flowers. A gentle breeze was blowing through the trees; and it was uphill from there. Check-in was quick and hassle-free. We were greeted by Hardeep at the front desk. He was friendly, accommodating, and very organized. Within a few minutes, we were in our room. Our room was clean and spacious and included a refrigerator. Most importantly, the beds were VERY comfortable. We really appreciated the great quality sleep we had. There was abundant parking right outside of our room. There was complimentary coffee in the office. The grounds were beautiful and tranquil. There was a fenced-in outdoor pool and a restaurant on site that we did not visit this time. We plan to try them on our next trip. We traveled with our dog, and he seemed to enjoy himself as well. There was a very nice dog park across the street and down the block a little. We took Hans there several times, and he played with his new canine friends. All-in-all, we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this resort. We will definitely be returning.

You are definitely going to want to read this.||MOST of the resort is being updated and is under construction ||Don’t know where to begin. We checked in at the front desk to realize that the ENTIRE office/main building/lobby and BAR/RESTAURANTS are all under construction. There is no common area, no food available besides the coffee and donuts in the lobby, and no breakfast area/restaurant. ||Once we checked into the room, see below for the photos of the KING SUITE. They vastly differ from the photos on the website. ||The bathroom is not updated or up kept. ||There is no Wifi. || NO one comes get the trash or dirty towels/bring new ones,|Never mind cleaning the room daily. |We had to ask for trash bags and do it ourselves.|They said leave the towels on the chair outside to be picked up, but they didn’t so we had to bring them to the office.||We had to go to the front office and hope that someone was there and/or that the door of the towel room was open so we could get clean towels when there were some available. ||High points- ||Horseback riding was great.|Provided an iron and hairdryer as requested.|Room was relatively clean.|Outdoor pool was open sometimes, and the indoor pool was also open. |Great location to Canada Street |Outdoor fire pit was available for guest use |Manager was available via text and did reply
