My experience at this establishment was nothing short of appalling. The first room we were assigned was filthy—chip crumbs on the chair, the kitchen counter was grimy, there were deep scratches on the floor, and the beds were completely unmade. We were moved to a neighboring room, but by then it was late, so we reluctantly went to sleep. The following morning, as I prepared for my aunt’s funeral (the reason we traveled to New Orleans), I discovered that the water in both showers was ice-cold. I reported the issue immediately, stressing the urgency given the circumstances. Despite this, I was informed that maintenance had up to 24 hours to respond. No one ever showed up, even after the 24-hour period had passed. Things only got worse on the second night of our stay when we found four roaches in the kitchen. I called again to report this infestation and demanded a refund along with the cancellation of my reservation. I was told I had to wait to speak with a manager, who wouldn’t be available until 10 AM the next day. As a physician who sees patients remotely, I had planned to work that day but had to cancel my patients to handle this urgent matter. Despite my patience and follow-up calls, I was finally informed that they refused a full refund for the first two nights because we had "stayed" in the room. The only reason we stayed the second night was because it was too late to make other arrangements, and I was forced to wait to speak with a manager. Furthermore, I was not offered a full refund even for the unused nights. I was told that the taxes and fees, which was around $400 was not refundable even for days that I did not spend in the rental. Since I could not stay another night in such deplorable conditions, I canceled the reservations and found another place to stay. This entire experience was a nightmare from start to finish—horrific conditions, lackluster customer service, no one on the property (virtually run establishment) to handle complaints and a blatant disregard for basic hospitality. I strongly urge anyone considering this place to stay far away.

The rooms were unclean when we arrived. The toilet had pubic hair on it, and barely held onto the floor with a terrible resealing job on the bottom. There was candy left on the unmopped floors of the bedrooms. The dishwasher didn't work, when reported to repair on day one, we didn't have one for the entire duration of our 6 night stay. The kitchen sink didn't have a plug for the drain. The towels had rips and holes in them. The fridge was essentially falling apart. Literally ignored by the staff when asking for assistance regarding some of these things. Do not stay here!

BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, & ROACH INFESTED. Upon arriving, there is literally no one there to help you. You basically have to find your way around and figure it out on your own. The rooms are stunning. I was greeting by a giant cockroach who basically gave me a tour of the place. Baby roaches galore. We ended leaving and asking to be reimbursed. Only to be threatened and coerced. We were told that because this is a serious matter & accusations that we would need to help pay the cost for an inspector and exterminator. Followed by “if you believe we aren’t bug infested and there’s been a mistake, please let us know.” Attached is a photo of the roach that gave me a tour of the kitchen.

This place is falling apart, the room we had was hot because it has the biggest window in the building, if you are on the north side you are literally right on top of the dumpster for the hotel next door, got that fresh trash smell from time to time, to enter the building was a nightmare, I was there for a week and they kept saying someone will fix the keypad tomorrow, 6 tomorrow's later and it's still broke, the flooring was separating and caused a tripping hazard, Noone ever contacted me back to come look at it, the shower had no water pressure and the final thing was that it came with a special friend, had a mouse running back and forth that was the size of a small kitten, absolutely disgusting. They put in the ad that parking was available for 30 a night, when i called they said no parking was available but there were spots open the whole time, I had to pay the people in the same lot 40 a day and then on the last day they tried to charge me more, the main selling point if this place was the rooftop lounge, guess what they finally got the elevator to the lounge working on day 6 of 7 and you couldnt gain access from the stairs. There is nowhere to put your luggage other than a cheap dollar general hangar rack, suitcases had to sit in the floor.Absolute disappointing.I will never stay at the any Roami facility again and I would advise the same for anyone looking.

The room is cool. It has a small kitchen and a separate bedroom. It's clean and modern and reasonably priced. They have a small gym. Don't expect an Olympic weight training experience but it's good enough if you just need to throw around some dumbells after eating too many beignets. The disappointment came in the service. Working with Eron was fine at first. He was friendly and responsive. Once I paid for everything in advance, I got ghosted. First, I didn't receive check in info like I was supposed to. I sent Eron emails that said as much. I was supposed to get that info within 24 hrs before check in. I received it an hour before check in, which makes you nervous when you took a plane to get there. This place was recommended by the hospital where my wife was having surgery. The hospital recommended renting a recliner while in town for a week to help her. Eron recommended ordering from Mr. Wheelchair and to coordinate delivery of the chair with his colleague, Lance. I'm not sure Lance actually exists. I called Lance as instructed. His VM prompt said texting is better and that I can also text Brian. I texted them twice with no response. I emailed Eron to let him know but got no response. I ended up coordinating everything with Mr. Wheelchair myself. Which was fine but don't tell me to coordinate with Lance if Lance doesn't exist. I also wanted to ask about deliveries as people wanted to send my wife a gift to help with recovery. The front desk had a picture if Lance and a blurb about him (he plays dominoes). They really tried hard to get you to believe he exists. There was also a phone number. I called it (same number as before) and it took me to the Roami booking operator. I told her I was trying to reach Lance to coordinate a delivery. She told me he would call me back. That never happened. At one point I found a package for my wife just sitting on the front desk. I'm glad it didn't get stolen. This is a cool place. The bed is comfortable, they have a kitchen, and I liked the atmosphere. The service sucks. Their website says they are customer focused. Maybe until you pay. Lastly, bring a Chromecast or Fire TV if you want to watch TV. The televisions have Google TV but I wouldn't put my Netflix password in a TV that's not yours. The wifi is fast but it's also not secure. I recommend a VPN, too.

Worst air bnb I’ve ever stayed in. The place was infested with roaches. The host stated that they would come spray for us but never showed, which led to us buying our own bug spray. That did not help. I was so uncomfortable and disgusted. The host also would not accommodate us with a partial refund. 0/10

0 stars if I could. So disappointed in our stay at the Roami July 4th -7th. We stayed in a combo room for a group of 12. After disinfecting the place, roaches started to come out. We notified the host and were told it would be resolved in 24 hours. No one came and said they were waiting on management. The roach infestation was so bad. The area rugs need to be replaced and couches. Headboards weren't clean. Roami needs to hire a better cleaning business. This was my family and I worst stay ever!!! Still disgusted.

We stayed for a convention which was held across the street. Location, design, layout were all great. Beds and pillows were so comfortable. Front desk person was very nice. My only complaint was that the floors were so dirty and needed swept and mopped. I would recommend and stay again.
