We came here for the Abba cover band, which was great. This restaurant was an unexpected added benefit for us to fill our bellies before the concert. The food was good, not great but good, they have the usual burgers, sandwiches, wraps and some entrees, you could probably find something to your liking, I did, the cheesesteak was good, brother had Salomon, says was rather small portion, table also had pot roast sandwich and burgers, and appetizers, reporting they were good. The prices were fair and service ok. We will probably come back again.

CASH ONLY SERVICE, ATM IS LOCATED ON BOTTOM FLOOR NEAR ENTRANCE. Starting my review the service was very friendly, a welcoming attitude by the wait staff, and quick seating time for a busy Sunday in Jim Thorpe (especially with the fall festival happening). Our waitress (either Donna or Deane, something like that) took our drinks, asked for appetizers, and even OFFERED to take our picture on the balcony overlooking the scenic Mahoning Valley. Little did she know we were celebrating our 1 year of dating so that made the meal even more special. The food was amazing and came out in quick timing. Picture attached is a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich as a wrap.

A good restaurant is located up on a mountain with a beautiful view, and outside seating 💺 is available. Waitress was excellent and prompt.

We were looking for a place to have some food after being on the road for a while. Stumbled on this place with two huge outdoor decks that had a beautiful view. We had our dog with us, and since we didn't want to leave him in the hot car while we ate, we thought we could just sit on one of the decks instead of the inside restaurant. We called ahead of time and asked in person, but the restaurant attached to Penn's Peak, Roadies, is not pet friendly. Their reasoning was that there were other guests on the patio and they didn't want our (medium sized and calm) dog to scare them. That didn't sit right with us, but it is their restaurant and we wanted to respect their decision, so we ordered our food and sat at a gazebo to eat. We were enjoying the views and eating with our pup. But then! We saw a younger couple with a baby and a DOG go and eat on the patio! Why were they allowed to eat on the deck but we couldn't? Was it because we weren't regulars or something? Very confusing and upsetting. The food was okay, for being in takeout boxes and eating with plastic utensils. We ordered the following: PORK TOTCHOS Crispy tater tots, slow roasted pulled pork, smoked bacon, cheddar, pepperjack cheese, scallions, hickory BBQ drizzle. $14 LOADED PIEROGIES Sautéed pierogies, stuffed with potatoes and cheese, topped with bacon, caramelized onions, smoked gouda cheese sauce. Served with a side of sour cream. $10 BBQ PORK Brioche roll, house braised pork, hickory bbq sauce, coleslaw, red onions. (with sweet potato waffle fry upgrade) $16 GRILLED PORTOBELLO Brioche roll, grilled portobello, fried goat cheese, spring mix, pesto, tomatoes, red onion, balsamic aioli. (with onion rings upcharge) $15 The tater tots were a bit soggy and the sweet potato fries tasted stale. Would recommend the pierogies though, very good. The meat in the pork totchos was much sweeter than the meat in the pulled pork which confused us a little. Review by TastyBitesbySophia on Instagram. They're fast and friendly, the food was good but the food is a little expensive for the portion size. It was still a good time but expect to pay tourist prices. Despite that, I would still recommend

The hosts and hostesses seemed to have no idea what seating they had available, taking us outside to find there were no seats available and finally finding us a booth inside. The food was very sub par, not a fan of ordering one thing and receiving another. The only redeemable quality this restaurant had was that our waitress was fantastic and took great care of us.

Loved Roadies! My husband liked the Roadies salad. My chicken parmesan was good, wasn't the best wasn't the worst I've had. There was a lot of larger chunks of onions in the sauce (not a fan of onions). Getting to listen to the bands doing their sound checks before the show was truly an added bonus. Loved the view and all the posters of previous acts along the walls. Definitely won't be my last time going there.
