We had a lovely visit with our beautiful friend whom we had not seen for several years. Re-restaurant review: If I ever come here again, it would be for the view, and to be with my friend. 2 out of 4 meals were sub-par. The ribs were so dried out the meat was separated into dry threads when it finally came loose of the bones. The sauce was nothing great and it could not cover up the terrible quality of the over-cooked ribs. Ability to accommodate my pepper allergy was terrible bc most of their food is already prepared/mixed for them. I gave up and had a chef salad. The garlic toast was exceptional. Waitress was great. Environment was extremely loud. This is NOT the place for a quiet dinner. The view of the river was nice. Cleanliness- average. Several flies kept bugging us and others. ‘Ello Chaps, Riviera Restaurant in Marine City, Michigan is located downtown, right on St. Clair River with a view of Canada. They have a full bar and breakfast past 11 a.m. This is a classic Americana style food menu and hits perfectly. Whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner – it’s simple, good food at a great price with great views. Truly love everything about this place. Overall, I give Riviera Restaurant the rare five stars out of five.

Food was very good. Much better than we've had a couple years prior. Our waitress Elizabetta? Was phenomenal. We had a group of 7 in for a birthday dinner and she was on point, even helping us out with the cake we brought, asking us if we needed candles. Food was pretty quick for how busy the place was. Fish and chips and sides were on point. All of us were blown away.

New owners wanna change up the food! I won't be back. Your French fries were good. Not anymore. Your cod was good, not anymore. Why would you change the menu that was already fine??? Good luck!

Right on the St. Clair River. Great view of commercial shipping, personal boating. All handicapped accessible. Nick was just a great smiley server. Wonderful service. Kudos to the Chef! Wonderful dinner! Bartender made a great Coconut Cream Mojito! Rum, Mint, Coconut Cream, Soda Water, Lime!Delicious! Not pictured.

So I was here with my little cousins and this sweet waitress who wasn't even ours played and messed around with all of us with was nice but then she brought a cake for everyone and was so nice and when I came back again with diffrent people she gave everyone a cake slice id choice despit not being our waiter

Been eating here for over 16 years. Very disappointed. Tonight was told by the owner I could order fettuccine with no meat but the price is the same. I was told the price is due to the sauce, there is no charge for the meat!!! Really? Where are you from? Unfortunately we will never be returning. Also get a real bread basket.

Our table on the patio was just a few feet from the river - quite a view and very comfortable on a beautiful day. The staff was friendly and the service was very good. We both had soup and the fish and chips and everything was delicious. Prices were reasonable. Beautiful drive to Marine City and well worth it for this dinner.
