Riverwind Hotel - Hotel in Norman - 2901 Bankers Ave, USA

We received a complementary room from our rewards points so I’m rating 5 stars, but if we would have paid for the room it might be a little different. The room itself is pretty nice, comfortable bed, nice furniture etc… But the bathroom could use a little attention. The only thing worse than a shower curtain, is a stained up shower curtain. It kinda gave the whole bathroom an icky feel.

I always have a wonderful time when I go to the hotel and the people in housekeeping are always special. I would like to thank Ashley for being so kind and wonderful to me. I had told her that she had made my experience high quality as all the hotel people do, but I think I always deal with the people in housekeeping more. Thank You Ashley

The front desk staff here is by far the friendliest, kindest, most helpful I've ever dealt with. 5 stars is an understatement. Absolutely fantastic service. I dont think they can be beat. I'll definitely be back. Thank you!!!

Melissa took great care of us. Checking in was a breeze, & they helped us with amenities we forgot. We enjoyed a concert, ate well & our stay was very nice. Our room was very comfortable. It was a quick getaway where we could just relax. It was a no stress couple of days.

The rooms are always clean. Some of the rooms need new beds. (We stay here a couple times a month) The cleaning staff is amazing and super friendly! They start cleaning rooms around 9am and they make lots of noise slamming doors so you won't be sleeping in. We are woken up every time we stay here. The front desk staff is usually very friendly. The tall female that's here working over night is rude and talks to you like you're bothering her. I looked for her name and didnt see a name tag. (Most of the staff has them) She's always sitting in the office on her cell phone. You have to go around to the side of the front desk to get her to come out of the office and help you. The hotel has coffee & juice 24/7 in the lobby. The lobby is very spacious and clean. There's a sky walk from the hotel to the casino so you don't have to go outside. There's lots of places to park and it's not a far walk to the hotel or casino. The casino is huge and has several restaurants. Overall, its a nice place to stay and it's reasonably priced.

This used to be a great place. Complimentary rooms are never available. I get solicitations monthly for comped rooms. When you call, rooms are never available. And the people you talk to... they're very mature of fact. "Nope... sorry. Can't help you," I had been going for several years, but in the past 6 months... since many of the recent property improvements... they could care less about customer service. I'm looking for a new outlet. You should, too.

The pillows are great. I am tempted to steal one. Food is a walk away in casino and great tasting. Was helped by Melissa. Very courtesy employees too. They give cookies and chocolate (if it's in stock), great late night snack after gambling.

Rooms are clean. Cleaning staff is super friendly. The female at the front desk overnight is NOT friendly. She acts like shes bothered when she has to get off her cell phone and come out of the office to help you. She then talks to you like you're stupid. We stay here a lot. She's reason enough to not want to keep coming back! She obviously doesn't like her job!
