Once upon a time, in a quaint little town called Milton, Florida, there was excitement in the air. The townsfolk were buzzing with anticipation as they prepared for the most awaited event of the season - the wedding of Jimmy and Sam. Friends and family from near and far were eager to join in the celebration.
A few close friends of the couple embarked on a delightful journey to Milton to witness the joyous occasion. As we drove into the town, we couldn't help but be captivated by the charm that surrounded us. The streets were lined with historic buildings, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home.
On the day of the wedding, before a beautiful ceremony filled with laughter and love, we decided to explore the town a bit more. As we strolled through the streets, we heard whispers of a hidden gem - a magical Riverwalk & park tucked away from the hustle and bustle.
As we continued our stroll, we discovered the charming Riverwalk. Benches were strategically placed for those seeking a moment of tranquility. It was a picturesque scene that seemed straight out of a storybook.
We found a quiet spot to take in the beauty around us. The Riverwalk became a symbol of unexpected joy, a delightful surprise in the heart of Milton.
The next day, with hearts full of joy, we bid farewell to the charming town, grateful for the love we witnessed at the wedding and the enchanting discovery of the Riverwalk. As we drove away, Milton's charm lingered in our memories, a reminder that sometimes the most magical moments are found in the most unexpected places.
Lovely little park along the river. I hope the city hosts celebrations in this area, although maybe there's not enough room. I can envision a lovely celebration in the downtown, including this Riverwalk area.
Has a nice view of the swinging bridge, picnic tables, benches, some dock access for boats, there are lots of twinkly lights up all around there right now (January). Nice space.
Nice park along the river. I didn't see any swings or ladders for kids. There is a small docking area for boats. A memorial is here. Lots of benches.
This is a nice little park. Kids loved investigating the train bridge. There is a lot of space here for young kids to play and explore. They have holiday lights up right now, too. It is a quiet place, even though it is close to downtown Milton.
Beautiful place to walk and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the river. Also the memorial is amazing. The children had fun with a scavenger hunt here. Also enjoy the bands on the blackwater for free fun with the family.
Enjoyed a walk with my grandsons along the boardwalk. Just trying to help the boys understand why Opa enjoys being around water so much.
Great place to visit. To pay respects or just learn about local history.
Very well done, will make you proud of the ones who serve and protect our country and rights.
Definitely worth the trip. You won't regret it.
This is one of the nicest parks I've Been to. I love the history, and the patriotism! Whomever dreamt this treasure up, I salute you!...along with every name on every brick.
I would recommend anyone passing through the area, and have even a small amount of patriotic pride to take the time to see this place.
One of the many great places Milton has to offer especially for your children. A newly renovated park for the kids to play and cool off. You can reserve one of the picnic tables for family functions. Fish off the pier. Its also a great place to walk
My brother comes down from Arkansas at least twice a year. And almost every night he is here we come to the garcon point Marina here and fish all night. Its a peaceful place to enjoy to finer things in life. Like reeling in a big one with your lil br

Peabody's is amazing. Great prices, quick shipping, everything is always packed nice and gets to me safely. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They only sell quality merchandise and really care about their customers. I get most all my crystals
Great little hike for a family. Short, and trails can get muddy after rain. Beautiful area but you will drive through a neighborhood to arrive, so it can seem like you're going the wrong way, but Google Maps directions are accurate.
Talking points:
Good service, few employees, friendly atmosphere, wait for food, food fresh and made to order, delicious, reasonable prices, exclusively outdoor seating, lots of seating, corn hole game, alcoholic beverage options

Pace Pools did a fantastic job installing our pool liner. I am still learning about the pool chemicals they are very quick to answer questions! All of the staff were amazing.
AWESOME!!! Had the Myrtle Burger. Was juicy, well seasoned, and DELICIOUS, paired with the sweet potato fries. Cooks had the burger up faster than fast food, brought it right to me. The juice from the burger was so good I soaked my sweet potato fries
A beautiful ecosystem full of a variety of freshwater fish as well as saltwater fish in the brackish water at the mouth of the river. Great place to see some wildlife.
