Riverwalk: A Family Park & Nature Center - Park in Rockledge - 5355 US-1, USA

It’s a wonderful place to spend a few minutes. The boardwalk takes you on a short walk through the woods till you reach the river. In total I’d estimate it about .25 miles in length. I wish it were longer though. The nature center has some animals inside to look at as well as educational specimens like skulls, scales, bones, and shells.

I'm driving by this place many times and always wanted to stop. This time I had my service animal with me. ;-) And he and I enjoyed a walk down the elevated walkway all the way to the river. We had it all to ourselves. So a cute little raccoon on a palm tree but I was too slow with my camera to get a picture. Was hoping to see a gator. I was disappointed. Fortunately we had no mosquitoes.

Short walk on a boardwalk type path. Weaves into a small forest then when you get to the end you are rewarded with a beautiful view of the Indian River. There are bathrooms, picnic tables, and a share a book kiosk. Also on certain days of the week there is a building open with educational information and crafts for kids.

Great little park along US 1. They have bathrooms, picnic tables and a learning area for kids. Updated wood walkway leads to the river. You can see manatee and dolphins, also a popular place for river otters to nest. Abundant flora and fauna to check out, wild berries (black berries, elderberries, beauty berries)

A cute and quaint place to bring your family. You don’t pay anything to enter and you can come to just relax or unwind. There is box to donate or take free books donated graciously by the Girl Scouts of America. This is a nice location if you just want to spend a little time away to enjoy nature Oh also! There’s stingrays by the walkway!
