Riverview Park - Park in Lock Haven - Palmetto Dr, USA

A beautiful park located right along the Susquehanna River just north of Lock Haven. Riverview Park boasts of a scenic walking path, beautiful swings along the path, picnic tables, pavilions, a gazebo, and a really nice park with an abundance of playground equipment for kids to enjoy. A nice place to spend an afternoon outside with the family!

Always a great little park to take the kids for the afternoon! There is a small building that contains gender friendly bathrooms, and has several pavilions available for all your party or family gatherings. There's also a paved path that makes a big loops makes it the perfect place for kids to ride a bike or scooter, and great for all ages to go for a walk, jog or run in a safe area away from the side of the road! My favorite thing here is the toddler swing with another seat attached to the front of it, so you can sit face to face with your little (esp. if they're afraid or might need special care of some kind). Highly recommended park for kids and adults both! *The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5, is due to the lack of maintaining/filling the wood chips this past year. Because of this, and all the rain we have been getting, there was calf deep puddles under the swings and ankle deep puddles at the bottom of the slides and other play equipment at one point.

Beautiful area and facilities. Great for a small family picnic or a big family reunion!

The park is very nice. It is quiet, somewhat secluded, and away from any major roads. It offers many activities for kids and adults, as well as what appeared to be some adaptive equipment for handicapped children. The walking path has couples swing benches (and regular benches), and lots of pavilions close to the playground, so you could enjoy food and keep an eye on your little ones. My only complaint was that the bathrooms were still locked, despite how many people were there. Other than that it was a good park to spend the afternoon at.

I came here to celebrate a birthday for a relative. The park is extremely clean including the bathrooms. The pavilions were maintained as well as the rest of the park. It is a nice place just to hang out with kids and family or to have a celebration in one of their pavilions.

Small out of the way park with plenty for kids to enjoy themselves. I was there on a mid week evening and was surprised how busy it was. If you just want to relax and get away, the Park has enough space to find a little exclusion. The scenery is great overlooking the river. Aptly named.

Love it! Great view of the river, great place to camp, great place to bike ride, skateboard, and play. The picnic tables are not super clean and the restrooms are still I conveniently locked as of March 29, 2021, but the park is still very nice.

Good place have a birthday party or take your kids to the park. Nice walking path,clean bathrooms and benches to sit on.lots of room to play kickball, baseball even has a volleyball net with sand.
