Riverview Inn & Suites - Hotel in Somerset - 1878 Wilbur Ave, USA

Had a quiet stay for one night. Family reunion road trip stayed in two clean comfortable rooms. Brought our own pillows. My room had a little musty smell at first but we turned on the AC & it subsided. Room could use some repairs: hand towel rack & shower knob fell but not a deal breaker because the price was reasonable & receptionist was friendly. The AC was excellent and so was the water pressure. Plenty of parking and the pool looked nice even though we didn’t make time to swim. Would definitely stay here again. Also, found a gem by the water to eat breakfast 20 minutes drive: Willow Tree Restaurant. A little wait time but super cheap prices. Texas French Toast was delicious.

Stayed for two nights. Motel was ok. Jacuzzi tub didn’t work. Had stained sheets. Fold out bed had rips in the mattress. Fold out bed had no room to fold out. So we had to put mattress on the floor so we could use it. Room was small. Room had bad smell to it. Turned air on an open door. Then went away. No condiments for body or hair. Only gave us 2 towels. Mind u they were small. Other wise ok. But not for the price I paid. Good things about the motel a lot of yard space for kids to run has a playground and an indoor pool. Balcony on a beautiful lake. An the people are nice. Restaurant next store. Not in the motel like it says on web. So basically great on the outside until you go in.

When checking in the staff was friendly and efficient. The first room we went to first smelled horribly of animal urine. We told the staff and he was gracious enough to give us another room. We went to the pool which was nice. When coming back from the pool, our room key could not open our room door. The staff gave us another key which also did not open the door. Finally the staff was able To open our door. The room had several beetles in it throughout our stay. The yard and outside play area was great for the kids besides the dog poop in the grass. Overall it wasn’t horrible. The service, pool and outside space was good. The room had a microwave and fridge the bathroom and sheets were clean but the hotel had a faint smell of mildew and dog and it could definitely use some upgrades. We got what we paid for so can’t complain!

Rooms were clean. My boys loved the pool and the back of our room because the basketball court was there. There's also a restaurant besides the hotel, easy to walk across with the boys and food was decent. I'm not a picture taker, but next time I will take some pictures. I will definitely go back. Thank you.

The room was clean. I HAD NO ISSUES at all. The pool was nice and it is inside so it didn't matter what the weather was. Very quiet. CONVENIENT for traveling. Quick on off ramp right to 195 across the street. Good restaurant next door. Other places to eat and shop only 5 min away.

Only stayed one night because of proximity to where we were. Very basic room but clean and spacious as room has a sofa and small refrigerator as well as the bed. Only real complaint is the bathroom. Towels small and thin and only 2 bath towels for 2 adults. Bathroom on small side as well. Location has a pool but we didn't use it. They also had coffee and fruit in the lobby in the morning. Check-in went fine - we were there later (around 9:30).

Although the staff was very lovely, the room was just okay. Bathroom door did not close what so ever, bedding was very thin - no extra blankets to be found, the freezer was so layered in old ice - you couldn’t even use it. I let the front desk know after my stay - and no apology, just “thanks for letting us know”. Again nothing horrible, I was just happy I only needed to stay 1 night. Good location though with a great sports bar in the same parking lot.

The room was alright, but it seemed in the middle of an update. The sheets didn't fit the beds. There were no blankets on the beds. The bathroom was nice. The only closet hanging rack was halfway off the wall. Missed a mirror above the vanity outside of the bathroom. Loved being able to bring my dog to one of the dog friendly rooms and the staff were very kind and professional.
