Wow, what an amazing place to stay. I booked this hotel last minute before my trip to New york, and I was definitely not dissapointed. I was greeted by wonderful staff who were so helpful and friendly. It felt as though there was nothing they wouldn't do for you or help you with!|Room was clean, tidy, and there was maid service every day. It was also very cool, and on hot days a quick blast from the air con cooled it right down. Brilliant location, right in the heart of manhatten but very quiet at night. Lovely neighbourhood and friendly locals. |Excellent value for money, I'd definitely stay here again if I was to visit new york in the future. I was loathe to leave !

This hotel Is not worth it. The room is really small with pigeons outside my window make it hard to sleep at night because they make so much noise. The bathroom seems to be renovated. College students live here for there housing, the college or university should find a better housing. There are bugs everywhere from very small to medium size, even if you clean and vacuum they will still appear. The kitchen for the floor is disgusting and looks like no one cleans up. Location is good near riverside park and many food places close by and the subway system is not far about 5 minute walk.

The place was very organized, people from reception was polite and kind. It has a lot of students living there. In my room had a closet, microwave and freezer. I´ve been there to held a english course and to know NY. It was awesome, because the Upper West Side is a beautiful place to go and it s very close to the subway. I would recemmend and come back. It is true that the airconditioning made noises but It wasn´t such a problem for me.

Have been coming here since I was a kid with my family and they have always accommodated us with the best experience. Great location and great views from the higher floors. Close to the subway and any type of dining that you could prefer. I will definitely be continuing our families stay at this wonderful and well priced hotel.

For the price paid, it was a good hotel, in a great location. I did not find the room too small, at least not compared to other rooms you would get in NYC or any big city around the world! The hotel overall was clean and the rooms kept in a clean condition as well. We left most of the times at around 9am and came back late at nights, so the most important thing for me was a good nights sleep and a shower in the mornings, both of these needs the hotel met. Of course if you look for a fancy 5* hotel with different dining options, gym, spa and so on, this place won't be for you. But for a first timer to New York who spents most of his/her time out and about this great city and wants to live in a true manhattan neigborhood and away from all the touristy craziness at times square, I can recommend this place. The area in general was safe and only a few blocks to walk to the nearest subway station.

i can understand that Hotels assigned the worst room to portal like budgetplaces but i paid up to 100$ per night to have a room that has never been cleaned, with a broken windows no wardrobe. I think it is more a management guideline rather than lazy employee. Guys a the reception were friendly and helpful.

i went to new york at june 2014 and i chosed this hotel because it was cheaper than the others in the area and it's very fast take the metro from here and go to the centre. The rooms were clean but the air conditioning was very loud, but for us was not a problem because it wasn't very hot||the best is the staff, very friendly and very helpful they gave us a lots of information about the city especially Iqbal who every evening spent whit me some minutes for give me a lots of important help for where to go||||Manuel, Italy
