Riverside Subs & Pizza - Featured Reviews (252)
We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered two regular subs to go. The 2 guys and the girl working were awesome. They have a great sense of humor and very personable! The subs were just right. So big we ate the other 1/2 for lunch on Monday. We were pleasantly surprised by the employees, though. It's rare anymore to go somewhere, especially in the restaurant industry and the whole crew is so funny and friendly!
I'm perplexed by the high ratings this place has. I was reluctant to order from here based on things I've heard about the place being unclean and knowing previous employees that I know to be filthy people. My boyfriend insisted that he's heard good things about the food so I reluctantly agreed we could try it out. $50 dollars later, we're both disappointed and disgusted. We ordered two cheese steaks and a large pizza. Everything is edible but barely. The pizza didn't look very appealing and tasted worse than a decent frozen pizza. The sauce is comparable to a frozen pizza, the crust too soft (seemed very undercooked) and the cheese is melted similarly. I ate one piece and don't want to eat any more. The cheese steaks were equally disappointing. They don't have much meat to fill the thick sub roll. I ordered my plain with cheese and it's filled with fried onions. I don't eat onions so that's going in the trash. I'm pissed. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. My boyfriend's cheese steak was disgusting too. They drowned it with mayo, ruining the entire sub. He asked for fried onions on his. The onions on his steak were under cooked and still crunchy. All of this food- fifty fkn dollars worth is nothing but SLOP. I honestly don't know how people eat this rubbish- it's not fit for pigs! My boyfriend picked the food up. He said the place looks unclean and looks like it hasn't been updated since the 60s. When paying, he was given one price but charged more when using his card to pay without any explanation. The receipt he signed had print that was barely visible, so he has no clue as to the reason for the price discrepancy. He's not usually as picky as me but upon walking in the door with our food he made a point of saying something felt real fishy about how he was charged. People should be warned not to trust the reviews on this disgusting establishment. We ordered for convenience. If I weren't busy at the moment, I would take the food back and demand my money back. I'm unwilling to have them remake our order because I don't think they could remake anything to be fit to consume. I'm beyond furious that we spent $50 dollars on dumpster quality food. NEVER AGAIN! Unless your taste buds are completely destroyed, order ANYWHERE else. UPDATE: Hours after eating his and some of my food, (I refused to eat any of it out of fear of getting sick) he got sick! Back and forth to the toilet throughout the night. We both commented about how the pizza left an awful taste our mouths after eating it, having to brush our teeth to get the awful sour taste from our mouths. I don't know if the sauce had turned or what but it made him very sick. I fortunately only ate one piece of the pizza out the entire disgusting meal and escaped illness.
I called and ordered two large cheese pizzas and was given a 30 minute wait time I showed up a few minutes early and it was ready as soon as I paid. This small restaurant is very homie to where I used to live and I am hoping to stop by again and try more of their menu.
Felt pro finding this so close to highway. Cross the bridge for the works! Down by the River . . . Best dam buffalo chicken cheese steak between NY and Alabama! Pizza aroma blew my hat back when we walked in . . This is the mom/pop shop that's a must stop if you appreciate a classic eatery . . . Lucky locals . . The DAILY SPECIALS would have me coming back for sure. Original menu items and all subs/pizzas are "fit for two" if you ask me. Classic quality eateries this good are a rare find too. Look no further . .
If you love good old Lycoming County subs and the sub shop experience- then you'll love Riverside. Lots of choices too.
Everytime I come back up to my old home town of South Williamsport, from southern Maryland where I live, I ALWAYS order from Riverside Subs. I especially love their subs! Wish we had a sub shop like this back in southern Maryland.
Quick stop on a road trip for lunch. It's definitely worth a detour to the other side of the river. Rolls were fresh baked. I was surprised at how many phone orders they had called in while I was waiting. Clearly a favorite of the folks that live in the area.
Not a bad pie good sauce good crust toppings were fresh. Cheese was a tad light for me. Delivery was fast and polite. I definitely recommend it. And remember people tip your driver it's a tough gig.

This stadium blows me away every time I come back. Theyâre always investing into the property and the field is gorgeous. Well tended to and well maintained. New bronzes, spacious seating. Free to boot. Paradise!
During the championship weekend. Between games is the best time can see it all. Take your time or just a quick shopping trip no matter what you call it. It is worth the trip either way.
I really like this dog park and the cool thing is that if you bring your family you can split up and chill with your dog at the park and right BEHIND THE DIG PARK IS A KID PARK and TRAIL! The upkeep is great too! Definitely recommend if youâre tryi
