Riverside RV Park - RV park in Canby - 24310 S Hwy 99 E, USA

We were visiting my grandson from out of town and my grandson recommended Riverside RV Park about 15 miles from his apartment. We were pulling a popup camper and had been on the road camping east to west coast on exploration adventures and visiting family along the way. I called about a campsite for 4 nights and talked to Tracy. I was given a very fair price and a place right across from the restrooms, recreation room and laundry. Advised they only accept check or cash and didn't need a deposit over the phone. Told us what site would be ours and if we arrived after 5pm, just stop at office to pick up instructions she would leave for us. We arrived early enough and were greeted like friends. Another office person working with Tracy offered us fresh coffee were told some kind of snack is usually available in the morning at the office. No breakfast is available there but her chocolate chip cookies were delicious the day we decided to stop in! It's on a busy street and close to gas, food, and other services. I didn't use the laundry but it was clean and looked like a decent place to use when Artificial Intelligence looked in. The women's showers were clean and nice. Simple but sufficient. I was pleasantly surprised because the first impression of the park on a busy street and not knowing the area at all. One of the neighbors next to us came outside and welcomed us. I discovered the park had a lot of full time residents and they are interested in having a nice place to live. It shows in the outside of the sites and one of the cleanest restroom areas I've been in as we traveled across the USA for over a month now. There is a measure of safety with locks on the doors for restrooms, rec room and laundry and you have to have a code given to you by the office. Lights in the park but not overly bright or invasive. My husband liked to walk to the river. One suggestion for the park to get a lighted sign that could be seen for the driveway to pull back in after dark. We almost passed it several times. The road is darker near the bridge and the river. Since we have a relative living there and we love to camp when we travel, I'm sure we will go back to this campground again!

We have a 42 ft rv and have lived here almost a year. It is 590 a month plus electric. They fill your propane bottles for you when you set them out. The managers just change and the new management is fine. They seem nice. I have no issues with them. They are easy to talk to. The maintenance man is beyond amazing always going above and beyond we really appreciate everything he does for us.

Stopped in today to inquire about a space......And am I ever grateful that I did. I met thee most wonderful woman. Helen at the front desk is an absolute treasure. She was so helpful and informative. She was funny and a genuine delight. So lucky to have met this beautiful soul. Thank you Helen for all your help.

I went to the park twice inquiring About getting a space. Both times I have gotten a run around about how they can't hold a space for you, But they are holding spaces for other people. And when I asked what spaces were opand told her that I had a Mapp. She told me she couldn't tell me. Personally this is twice I don't know how you're supposed to rent a space there.

I live here. The Manager, Sara, is excellent at her job. I have been told to clean up my space. I waited to long so the owner gave me warning. I deserved it. I was waiting for my new RV. I got told that this Park has standards, I have been warned. Message well received! I have a better space and happier neighbors!

They don't allow / except "Skoolie" school bus RV conversions.

20+ years have passed since last time I visited Riverside RV park. I was expecting the typical older park I remember, a little on the 'trashy' side, nothing special. I was very surprised. It has made a change for the better, no doubt. It was clean, driving lanes seemed wide and it all seemed well planned & organized. The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars is there is no site numbers on the ground & I didn't notice any signs. I got there after dark and it was very difficult to find my friends site #.
