A great food truck in Nehalem that is located next to the river in a food truck court atmosphere. These fish & chips were excellent! My favorite batter, and not greasy! My friend had the fish tacos that were excellent as well!

Beautiful location, gorgeous spot to sit and enjoy. Service was great, and only a short wait to get our food. The fries (chips) were absolutely phenomenal! The fish was cooked perfectly, BUT it was very bland, just a bit of the seasoning from the fries and it would have been perfect, but without that it missed the mark. I also didn't care for the coleslaw.

This place has the best fish and chips. Fish is tender and fresh. Fries are crispy. Tarter sauce has good flavor. My family comes here every time we are in the area. Service was fast although we were before the lunch rush.

A great quick lunch! The fish and chips were nice and crispy, fresh, flakey, with good balanced flavor. The coleslaw was yummy too.

Stopped in one of my favorite little towns on the coast, Nehalem, Oregon. Followed a sign that led us behind a bar/tasting room, out to the river, and two food carts, one that specializes in fresh doughnuts and coffee. That one was closed, however the other food cart, Riverside Fish n' Chips was open, and had a special on grilled cheese sandwiches. The scene was truly idyllic, and we were hungry so, we ordered two sandwiches. They came with a mix of either pepper jack, cheddar or a combo of the two. The cost was not terrible, a bit over $8.00 each. Everything else on the menu though, was more expensive. Hwy 101 was literally half a block away and yet most, if not all of the noise from busy traffic was silenced. There were several seating options including two picnic tables with big sunshades on them. The Nehalem river flowing just a few feet away is smooth and mesmerizing with folks in kayaks fishing or just floating by. Our food arrived and came with some really good seasoned fries. The sandwiches were also good, with no black on them, evidence the cook is experienced and cares about the product. Not always the case with a grilled cheese sandwich, to be sure. So we enjoyed our meal and respite next to the river. I liked everything but the prices. My budget has been a bit tight for a while so I will often eat at home, or pack food along. Still, this was worth it, to stop and rest for a while in a very serene setting. And I'm sure many folks will pass on by, because there isn't a whole lot of signage on the street. Still, look for it.

Cool little food truck hiding down an alley in Nehalem. Menu is pretty straight forward. We ordered the fish and chips! They were very solid, crispy fried batter and fresh tasting fish. I will say the batter could use a little more seasoning but It was still quite good. I would recommend this place for a quick bite if it's not raining! The little eating area shared with another coffee/donut stand is nice, and has a river view but wouldn't be great in the rain. Easy to park on the north side of the business in the public lot at the intersection of H St and the 101.

Great cod fish and chips here! I love the extra crispy fries they make here. They are also very friendly, and fast with your order. This cart (and the couple more in this pod) is kinda hidden from the main road so you won’t see them, and the signs on the main road go by quickly, so just park anywhere along the main road and walk. Everything is so close in this area of town that nothing is more than 2 blocks.

We had the cod fish & chips ($12) and the fish tacos ($14). They were both excellent! The fries were seasoned well and the coleslaw was good too! Staff were friendly and took our order before they opened. It was nice they had a covered seating area for the rain. We would definitely come back!
