Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival - Fairground in Indio - 82-503 CA-111, USA

First of Date festival is not just for dates. It's just a festival/carnival. The website is very deceiving not enough information. So, after a long walk and asking around we found where they have the dates, sadly it was in one of the building and only not even half of it was dedicated to dates. Overall we had fun, I've had my date shake which I can make it just the same at home. The weather was perfect, they had a parade going on outside of the carnival. The prices were outrageous, not worth it to spend. They raised everything by %100 . I've been to many carnival and expected the higher price but these prices were just ridiculous plus paying for unhealthy foods ? No thank you.

We enjoyed the fair displays and avoided the food booths and carnival. We really had to search to find the dates. No food featuring them. Only ones we saw were in the display on produce. Animals were fun to see, they had pigs, goats, sheep, rabbits etc. Parking was hard to find as they had closed off so many roads and it was pretty expensive on top of the entry fee. So not my fav thing were did while visiting but okay way to spend 3 hours.

I've been coming here since I was a kid. I was born in Indio, CALIFORNIA 1979. I grew up watching my father work all the palm trees in the Coachella Valley, a long with my grandfather and 5 uncles. I remember helping my father with the pollination and the harvesting of the palm tree fruits, aka medjool dates. ❤️🌴

Go for a fun time. We went specifically for the Pro rodeo and had an absolutely great time. Great food, the art museum , the barn, the rides and games are abundant. The Journey tribute band was good too. Go with the family. Great date night.

The fair returned this year and it was great to have back. The entry fee was reasonable and the wristband to access the carnival rides was a pretty good value. The fair was well laid out and easy to navigate with a decent number of food options.

The best family fair far and wide! We took my family and there’s rides for your little ones and your thrill seekers- food was good but expensive, lots of theater, exhibits, and booths to see. I suggest dressing warmly and getting there as early as ya can get everyone in the car!

Was pretty nice. Disappointed in the vendors. Not much to choose from. Need to get more variety.

Lots to do. Enjoy your $18 cheeseburger.
