I really enjoyed the park along with my kid. I think it is a very unique park with nice walk areas, a giant play area, gym structures to keep even adults busy, active and involved. Plenty of parking and clean. Has food options too. Great view. Highly recommended
This is one of the nicer parks I have taken my daughter. Not too much to do though for younger kids. Luckily my 2 year is fearless. I would say the biggest issue we had was a bathroom not being there. A hour drive then not having a bathroom is a lot for a two year old. Still had a bunch of fun though.
Children love this place ,,during summer they have ice cream close by , even adults like this place
We loved it! There's something for everyone here including Briq's ice cream. My favorite part was that the adult fitness area overlooked the child's obstacle course. So I can keep an eye on my little while exercising peacefully.
Fun has such great Spider-Man equipment to practice your ninja skills
This is a great park for everyone. There is so much to do!
If your looking for a spot to just relax then take a seat at one of the many benches along with pathway or under one of the shade sail spots. They also have bikes you can rent to take a ride along the beautiful riverside.
The kids will enjoy walking on the "sky walk," sliding down the giant slide on one end or climbing on the big web on the other end.
Try not to get dizzy while spinning on one of the several merry-go-rounds. Some have seats and a few others are made for just one at a time.
They have an area for older kids and adults to work out. Each piece of equipment has info on how to use it and what area of your body is getting a workout. There is an app you can download to give you pointers for your workout at specific location as well help you find other similar locations.
There is a fun obstacle course as well where you can use the app and compete against other kids or just get through it as fast as you can. Don't forget to push the button before you begin and again when you finish to keep track of your time.
If your looking for even more to do as a family it is right next to WOW fun zone that has fun inside family entertainment.
Last but not least don't forget to get an ice-cream treat at Briqs before you leave. You may just have to try their famous "One Pound Cone."
Very nice playground. I used the kayak launch. It was very nice and easy to use. It even showed directions for handicap people in wheelchairs to use it and get into a kayak. Very convenient. Getting some Briqs ice cream after makes for an amazing fun day.
We found something to do on the playground for babies through adults. Everyone loved the Briqs right there at the park and on the water. Trails to walk along the water. Highly recommend for families!
Humongous clean and new playground with splash pad. Outdoor themed with climbing walls and numerous sensory involvement activities. Perhaps the best playground I've found in northern Wisconsin. Clean restrooms with baby changing tables.
The 'accidental' creation of the 400 block has single handedly transformed down town into a true treasure.
Once the bandstand was erected, the 400 Block became a wonderful venue for local and national bands. During the day, this open space makes dow
The bridge has a classic feel with its strung lights. Nice walks, would definitely come back
EDIT: Iâve come back here a few times since my first review in 2019, and still really enjoy this location. Spent a lot of time here in winter and spring a
Memorial park is a beautiful place full of stuff to do. There's a city pool with waterslides and other fun stuff, a 9 hole disc golf course (watch the water holes), playground, tennis courts, and boat launch.
Great place to check out a baseball game with plenty of food options that change from stand to stand in the park as well as a area for the kids to burn off some energy
This is a nice park. I really like the aviation theme. It is the only park I've seen with a play control tower or much more a vintage A-7D Corsair II fighter jet.
Such a cute place to bring the kids, has a play set that the kids can climb around in and on, a teeter totter, a swing set and a decent sized spinning ball cage thing. It also has a lot of open space, has a steep hill on one side (great for sledding
This place is amazing!
A HUGE selection of chocolates, candies and fudge.
They have samples for almost everything, which I found super helpful in picking my favorites to purchase.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Overall a great experience!
