Great place for hiking and biking 🚴♂️ the roads are very clean and well maintained.
Beautiful track to walk; especially if you happen to be in Downtown Albany. Snow is plowed in the winter and the path is salted. Plenty of place to park you vehicle 🚗. Scenic walk along the Hudson River. You can also rent a kayak from DEC in the summer.
It is still a good place for family hangout and it's free of cost. Friendly people, and aquatic activities, such as fishing, canoeing, kayaking, boating are making of this place the favorite spot for the residents of Albany and visitors as well. But most of all, the Bike Trail along the Hudson River make of this place a great destinations for biker, walker, runners joggers and bird watcher and so on.There is not need to be afraid here. Like in the most recreational places in Albany the Riverfront is guarded by people like you, ready to make our community a better place. The residents of Albany are people that care. So, don't feel uncomfortable if somebody is looking at you, because what is coming next is a beautiful and friendly smile from ear to ear, followed by ..." you have a good day". There are a lot of activities taking place here. Mostly during the Summer. You better check the New York State official website to learn more about them. The most of the activities here are family oriented. There is a kids playground surrounded by a picnic area. That way you can watch for your children while you do your grilling. Close by clean restrooms and plenty of parking areas. The Riverfront is open 24/7. There is not need to rush. Take your time and relax.
This is a nice walk/run/bike trail along the Hudson River. Nice place in the daytime but it seems to be a homeless encampment in the evening hours. There are bathrooms and a bike share location. Trails are paved but a little bumpy in some areas. In the summer they have outdoor concerts called Alive at 5pm which are free to attend. Pictures below show the stage under the under pass due to rain.
Good place to walk, bike, picnic, or just watch the world pass by. On my visit there the dock at the boat launch was under water due to heavy rain and high tide.
Usually breezy from the river. Only drawback is noise from 787 in places. Depending on time of day not shady though many trees line the path. Great for biking and walking
Nice place to walk and watch the Hudson River flowing.
This area reduces my blood pressure, and always brings a smile to my face.
To be a participant in this event of NAMI WALKS, was truly a blessing to me - I met wonderful people, we shared our experiences about ourselves or others regarding Mental Health Conditions, and I didn't meet a stranger. I even got to take photos of
Canât believe it is dog park. Thousands of people bustling as part of annual tulip ð· festival. Every arrangement was to the perfection. Manned and ticketed closed zone for ðº; police watch tower, plethora of food trucks, non profit initiative
Since childhood I've frequented this park. Times have changed and so have the people but it's still standing strong every year to welcome kids from t ball up to the teens. Playgrounds open year round. Concession stand open during summer and during ba
Loved this place. Nice clean area and scenic view. Very peaceful. Great place to walk and think. In the fall, even more beautiful. I find it very soothing and relaxing. It has a park as well for the kiddos. Very historic vibe. This is definitely m
I have been working out at AMF for 14 months now and absolutely LOVE the results I have seen. Seth has created a program that appeals to all ages and body types. I will be 62 this month and feel the best I have in decades. Thanks Coach Seth!!
Such a cool place. Great beer, fabulous service, food is delish! Vibe is awesome with super friendly people and the place was hoppin! Very busy! You gotta go!
Very fun activities. It is one of a few activities where you can see a nice melting pot crowd. The best thing it is free for all of us to enjoy. Washington Park should be at the top of your list next time you come to visit us.
We had our post-elopement "party" at Albany Distilling Company and could not have been happier with our decision! Natalie (the bar manager) went above and beyond to ensure our celebration was absolutely perfect. She really went the extra mile from th
Just look at the size of this meatball sub (paper plate included for scale); these are all-beef and delicious; flavor well-balanced, sub roll fresh. (Their deli-wrap sandwiches, deli counter, pizza, and cheesy chicken parm, are all great, too.) Frie
Delicious Korean casual food! Bulgogi burger was delicious. The Rice bowl was also just as good with a hefty portion! Also the snack section is great to choose from. Make sure to try the Melona ice cream bar if they have it!
This little cash only place is a great find. The staff are all family. Friendly, and quick service. Your plate will be over flowing with the taste of the old fashion cooking. Definitely recommended to stop and eat here.
Great italian dishes with some vegetarian options. I ordered spaghetti with meatballs, and it was awesome. My wife ordered the eggplant Parmesan and we both loved it.
