We have always started from the other end of this trail and it is nice there too, but this is my favorite section. I love that you can walk by the river through the woods or along the canal.
I didn't see any alligator but would like to know where exactly are they to avoid that area. Nice detail having the sprinklers at the bridge to refresh after a walk. Is the water clean enough to submerge a little to get a break from the heat?
This a very scenic part of the Columbia River Walk. There are multiple trails for walking or jogging. There are many areas to fish or wade in the river.
My dog and I love this section of the Riverwalk. Plus, it's a great place for bird watching.
Loved the walking trail and being so close to the river. It is a peaceful area to walk and explore the natural wild life. I happened upon this by accident driving through on my way to Alabama. I saw the water and then people walking and decided I need to check it out.
Another positively awesome day @Broad River Canal. The weather was great, not to hot nice breeze the pollen was low. The human & animal traffic was mild but tolerable w/a German beer festival starting as I was leaving... I 💛 nature. I have enclosed a few pictures of the canal & some of the scenary. Enjoy!!! 😎💃🏽☀🚲👟🍻🌳🌾🍃🍁🍂🌷🌼
The main entrance to the park is not clearly marked.
You know your close right after you pass the numerous auto dealers on the right-hand side. The park road is a dirt road, so I'm not sure of the purpose of having speed bumps. The best feature are the natural falls that have an overlook section which can be viewed at a lower level as well. Once you visit the falls area, it's pretty much over.
There is a basic paved road where bikers and joggers go. Its rather under whelming. Some locals fish in the canal. but the canal nor the Overgrown wooded area is nothing memorable. Columbia could do a better job maintaining it. They do post a sign for alligator, but none were in sight. I suggest visiting the other Riverfront Park located closer to the city of Columbia.
Riverfront Park North is, in my opinion, one of the best hidden gems in Columbia South Carolina. Whenever I'm feeling a little over stressed, or that life is moving faster than I would like, I go there to walk my dog and to enjoy the sense of calm it's natural beauty gives me.

Just an awesome little island just out from the Lake Murray Dam. Plenty of areas for fishing, camping, and exploring. You can catch beautiful views of the sunset and sunrise from the shores. You can also visit a cemetery on the island that dates back
Beautiful path! Bridges that walk over the river. Boyd Island is awesome. Beautiful scenery, safe walkways, lots of shade. So nice to walk by the rivers & see all the wildlife.
I felt so important! It was so quiet with no players out there everyone leaving because school had ended and it was so peaceful and I just stood there and took it all in .! it was so overwhelming I wanted to just cry at how amazingly beautiful it was
First time visiting this park and it's so adorable! Nicely landscaped and maintained well and very clean. Only downside is that there are no restroom facilities onsite, so come prepared for that. Otherwise my daughters loved playing here. My littlest
This park is awesome. We are on our second annual pass. It has a lot of flat paths for walking running or biking . It has a dog park, or you can just walk your dog on a leash. The paths are set through the bush with views of brooks, and a river that

Great location, very clean facility and amazing staff! Coaches are very knowledgeable, the workouts definitely get your heart rate going. A mixture of power and cardio and more importantly a proper warm up session before it all goes down. Regardless
Best cookies you will find, having be trying to find a great bakery nearby and all of them care more about appearance than taste, but this place was amazing. Best icing Iâve ever had and the cookie was fantastic overall 10/10. Great service too, la
Hands down this is the best vegan food Iâve had so far. I & my daughter drove from the Augusta, GA area for her birthday. Sheâs an 11 year old vegan & finding good vegan food in our area is almost impossible. The drive was well worth it. We will
