Positive: The staff was amazing! The bartender for the managers reception and had such a great personality. The food was delicious and the room and view were great. Negative: There was a bit of construction by our room in the morning that we heard but it was easily able to be drowned out with a sound machine

This is a really cool hotel with an awesome location on the riverfront. The staff were great and the charm of the place was better than expected. I'm giving it four stars out of five only because the rooms have Edison bulbs for light and they are cool white in temperature rendering them almost painful to look at. I operated in the dark with the only illumination coming from the bathroom. Make sure to get a room with a river view as the views are much better.

Horrible experience the second time we stayed. Put us by the gym and managers hospitality party room. Noise kept us up past midnight. Supposed to shut that down at seven. When we went to front desk, person said they have no authority to close it. No insulation on outside wall, so street noise was horrendous. We could listen to the conversation from outside quite clearly, all night. Some one else was at the front desk because of no hot water. Front desk said no maintenance until morning and no other rooms. We asked to speak to the manager in the morning, and were not able to get a word in edgewise. Not able to get a contact for anyone else that we could talk to, from them, online or otherwise. Nice looking place, but many issues. They've put lipstick on a pig. Horrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

The hotel is located in an old river front building. Old brick interior walls, wood floors, and period furniture. Very comfortable, lux bedding. Wonderful shower, too. The managers cocktail party was a plus. Great drinks and food. Rooms are a little pricey but location location, location..

We absolutely loved this hotel. Perfect location, right on the river with tons of shops, restaurants and bars just steps away. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Happy hour snacks and drinks on the porch overlooking the river are a real plus!

Yeah, nope…wanted to try it as location is good, historic building, and it is a pretty interesting building. But room is about the size of the bed, tiny, and the bathroom needs a lot of help with their tiny toilet bowls. For the price you are better off elsewhere. They asked for $50 for incidentals, not sure what for, but told them to keep it and pay someone to clean the room, it’s nasty. They have 2 water bottles on the room, nice right? Until you realize they are just refilled from the sink, the cap came right off with no locking ring should have been the telltale. Another thing, it’s loud, you might as well sleep on a tent in the street, but at least the tent would have been clean. Don’t expect the AC to do much for the temp. One night in Savannah, zero sleep. Never again.

We like it here because of the location, but this time, the staff on the fifth floor and some of the front desk made the stay worthwhile. I do like the rooms, but one night we had cold showers. Also, I could use one more chair so I don't have to move the computer chair.

This is not your typical "courtyard" or "express" hotel! It's an interesting, historical, funky, boutique hotel overlooking the Savannah River. VERY COOL PLACE. Brick walls, wood floors, historic artwork. Room was small but clean and a mix of colonial and modern. Staff was very personable, helpful, and accommodating! The only reasons for not giving this place 5 stars across the board is the $39 valet parking fee and it was hard to find with all the construction going on in front of it. We would stay here again, thank you!🙂👍
