Looks nice from the outside. Rooms, not so much. We had a kitchenette. Bonus. The pots, pans, etc. Looked to be bought from a yard sale. The bathroom door had a plastic circle stuck to it. It was covering a hole. Painters could have done a better job.
We booked a deluxe Queen room with two. What we got was a room with a single bedroom a king size but I did end up sleeping on the couch. We expected there to be a pool their website advertisers that. However there is not one there. It did have a kitchenette, but no Forks.
Very unprofessional, this place is run by ex convicts, ex druggies. The water leaks in almost every room. Mold is growing. The staff is full of drama. The owners don’t know how to run a business. They spread rumors about you. Owners don’t care. Don’t even bother giving them a dime. They own this property and the hills hotel in Mankato. Not to mention the cockroaches and the bed bugs! I have also stayed at the Hills hotel, I have proof of it, I have receipts!
DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel is beautiful but the manager/owner is extremely rude and incompassionate. Highly recommend to avoid! We brought a young family there who was waiting for their home to be ready in the middle of a harsh Minnesota winter. We booked online and the website we booked said that early check-in was allowed but when the family arrived, this manager would not allow early check-in even though we were told by the workers that there were plenty of rooms available. The family stayed two nights, they were quiet and respectful and were able to get out of the cold. When the second night came around, I was there in person with my ID and multiple credit cards but the (very friendly) worker at the front desk was having trouble with her computer system running the cards. She said that the system was running very slow and the issue was on her end, not ours. She said that there would be no problem to call tomorrow to pay or come back later tomorrow and that the room was available in any case so it wouldn't be a problem for them to stay another day and then call in or pay in-person the next day. When 11:00 the next day came around, the manager/owner kicked the family out on the streets. She wouldn't reason with us at all about the night before, or the payment issues, or give any flexibility for allowing them to stay, despite calmly explaining the situation. She stuck strictly to her "rules". She came close to accusing me of credit card fraud. I help families frequently and travel frequently, but I will not be going back to that hotel, or sending any families to that hotel, and I recommend everyone to avoid the hotel. The manager has no compassion or reason or flexibility for humanity. The inside of the hotel is nice, although their computer systems suck. In general, the manager has no compassion for others and I highly recommend to avoid.
Its a nice place I like the it had the small bedroom for the second be. Really well decorated for Christmas. Only thing I feel like it was missing was a hottub 9/10 would recommend. Side note front desk lady was really nice
Awesome place well worth the investment great service kind and friendly people with a pretty good breakfast the following day.
Loved having the small kitchenette to be able to prep food for lunch and keep stuff frozen or chilled. Didn't use the stove top or dishwasher but was intrigued they had either to use! Would be 5 stars if they served hot breakfast, and rooms could use some updating cosmetically, paint, cracks, touch ups. Service was always willing and able to help with anything I needed or wanted! Location was great to get out to where I needed to be.
You know when you get that perfect looking watermelon then you open it and it is just flavorless and mushy….that’s this place. Outside is decent, lobby looks nice….then you get into your room and your hit with the flavorless mush. Our room still had mascara from the previous guest on the bathroom counter. Fridge didn’t work and smelled bad. Shower wasn’t as clean as it could be. It was just VERY DATED. Looks like they tried to freshen up the bathroom by throwing a single layer of paint on the wall. Along with many other things that were minor but should be replaced especially for the price a night paid. Now, with all that being said it worked for us. The bed was fairly comfortable, AC worked well and so did out toilet. We didn’t eat any of the breakfast but it did look like there were more options on the weekend vs a week day. Luckily we were visiting family so we didn’t need to spend much time at this hotel other than sleeping.
This place was very cleaned! I love the extras in the room. They make sure you are good. Front desk staffs are nice. Stayed here only for one night due to work event. Also have good hot breakfast 6-9am!
