Small park but plenty of things to climb, slide and play on to release energy and have some fun. Small slide for toddlers, big swing, climbing ropes, climbing rocks, and see-saw. They also have some places in the shade for parents and caregivers to sit.
Nice park with a small playground and access to bike trails. The playground is good for smaller kids 6 years old and younger. Older kids may play through quickly or find the equipment a little boring for them. Bathrooms are further away from playground towards the trail and boat ramp to Nuese River.
Took My Kids To The Park. Nice Quiet Park. Will Bring My Kids Back They Enjoyed It !
Clean park with plenty of open space for picnics or just running around. With this being a fairly new park, I would have expected the kids playground to have been much bigger, especially with all the new homes built which you can see while driving through the neighborhood to get to the park (not as near the size of Knightdale Station).
Brand new park and playground! Geared towards smaller kids but is a fun park. Our 3-year-old had a BLAST and didn’t wanna leave, even though it was only 34° outside today! 🤣❄️👍 I like how all of the play things are spread out and not all tightly clustered together. Really nicely done and creatively layed out playground.
The River Bend bike and kayak launch has no room to unload kayaks. A very large no parking fire lane but no where to drop off. The Parking lot is about 100 yards away and there is kayak parking there, fine if you have a bike but a long walk if it is just yourself and a kayak. Then another hundred yards to the water. Nice bathrooms and has a changing room lots of benches to sit on and is very scenic but would have liked to see some place to drop the kayak. There is some handicap parking there but only if your handicap and the spaces seem too small to hold a van. There could’ve been a better design for this. It’s nice to see lots of trash cans let’s hope people use them! And parks and rec has a notification board in case of hazardous obstacles in the Neuse River.
Accessible from the 540 and to the Neuse River Trail near the 10mile point giving options to head north to the dam or south to Anderson Point Park and further to Clayton. Plentiful parking and clean bathrooms. There is also a bike tools stand for repairs.
My 15 month old had a great time playing here! The playground structure and other items are designed for 2-5 year olds so it’s perfect for toddlers. We’ve only been once on Labor Day weekend and it wasn’t very busy.

I recently hiked the Sycamore Trail in William B. Umstead State Park and I highly recommend it! It is a 7.2 mile loop trail that is moderately challenging, but not too strenuous. The trail winds through a variety of terrain, including forests, meadow

My kids love this place and we frequently bike here for sunsets at the top of the hill. Also they think the trash burn off constant flame pipe is cool. Great place for pics and the playground is fairly new. Convenient to bike to off the Neuse River t
Kids love this park! Canât ask for more. A full playground, a train that you can ride around the park, a carousel, and a concession stand! During the warmer months thereâs boats and other activities that we werenât able to do, while visiting du
Come get your exercise on!!! I've been to active parks before, but man alive!! I wasn't ready!! Kinda felt bad, coming there to grab some photos, so I did a couple of push-ups to be a team player. Very clean, plenty of space, and they even have a f
Truly a hidden gem. There's maybe a mile to a mile and a half of trails altogether, and they're all really pretty. There's a creek that runs through the park with a small waterfall, and quite a variety of trees and plants. Saw very little poison ivy

This will be my go-to box when I come back to Raleigh. The second I walked in the coach was very welcoming, and everyone made me feel like I was hanging out with friends at my box in Washington. On top of how at home I felt, the layout was perfect al
My partner and I stopped in to try the coffee and a slice of cake while we did some work. Both the coffee and the cake were good. I always get a plain latte my first time at a new coffee shop to figure out if Iâm going to like it and Munch It defin
Yum! I got the cold brew and it was rich and robust and creamy without the need for milk or creamer to be added! I also nabbed the last croissant for the day and it has a lovely texture and flavor. Service was polite and the place felt clean. I enjo

Bryan Griffin is flat out one of my favorite people in the art. Talented beyond explanation and just a really nice guy. Anytime I'm ever close to Raleigh, I'll be heading into their school.
