202208 The visitors center has 2 parking area. To the right if the visitors center is the boat ramp. Donations are accepted. Please bring cash $2 per day/car and $20 per year - honor system. Parking areas are very shady, perfect for hot sunny days. You can rent canoe by the boat ramp. The restrooms were not in operation today, but portable bathrooms are available.
Nice friendly trail, if you want to spend hours hearing the sound of Potomac, this one is hard to beat.
Nice shaded easy hiking path… not too crowded, some areas is narrow but overall it’s as perfect as any hiking place u can get!
The boat ramp is right on point. You can drive down in reverse to release your boat.
I went to RiverBend with a family field trip from my school. It was so much fun. We worked with some naturalist to screen the water for invertebrates and it was super fun. We also took a hike which was cool. We look for some fossils as well. Was a great day to be near the river and to have such a pictures. The park has lots to offer even if you don't go with a naturalist. I recommend it highly.
Great place to kayak or canoe. You can rent both here, not sure of the cost. The river is fairly wide but shallow and moves a bit faster than Algonquian Park but can't be considered as rapids. Its far enough upriver of the Falls for beginners and intermediates to enjoy. You can navigate around rocks and small islands, may not be the best place for smaller kids to paddle on their own. The trails are also a lot of fun for an afternoon hike in the woods by the river.
No face mask No boat! Thats what happened to me at Seneca Creek State Park. At Riverbend Park employee were very friendly and they found ways to accommodate me / people whom cant wear face mask for various reasons. Go and improve your immune system here by exercising your upper body / kayaking. Not 100% sure of the names of employee but was a nice women at registry Loren, and a male Ben. Thank you
The park itself is really nice place and the nature is awesome specially when you go to north direction along the potomac river, but I don't recommend boating, kayaking or canoeing since the water is too shallow to do it and because the current rent directs you to the dam and great falls you have to go upstream which is more shallow and rocky.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. Reminds me of my travels to Germany and France, where going out to eat is an event rather than just dinner. All the food was delicious, cooked to the expectation and delelivered to the tabl

Nice park with many trail options, sections of the canal that Washington's company built, and nice river views. Good size parking lot that's rarely full. Wild paw paw picking in the first couple weeks of September.
This is 70% about cars and coffee but the breakfast and coffee is pretty good too. From 6-9am on Saturdays, Katieâs hosts one of, if not the best and longest running cars and coffee in the area. Yes it gets SUPER packed in the warmer months but the
We like Irish food, so whenever weâre in the area, we try to return to this restaurant. The menu is changing, and we enjoyed most of the dishes. They have an extensive list of Irish wine as well, but usually we chose Irish coffee. The atmosphere is
Excellent dinner with great friends and impeccable service by Isaiah. We went early so there were very few people but it's a quaint warm atmosphere and very clean place.. Enjoyed some tasty appetizers and an amazing salad ( should have had a bit more
This has got to be the best Starbucks anywhere: spacious, comfortable (both inside and outdoors), orderly and efficient. But the most important thing is the friendliness of the staff: ours is a small village, people know each other, and the staff ju

This place is just plain excellent. Had family there for dinner, between us pumpkin, eggplant, salmon, beef, chicken, lamb. Perfect preparation, always comes out physically hot. Sauces are great as is the bread. And proprietor and service really
Top highlights: Ambience: although It was quite quiet at around 915 hours on a weekday, ambience felt lovely, with soft music and lights, it felt like a really nice place for dinner. Service: Servers were super nice and courteous. Promptly changed
