Rivas Mexican Grill - Mexican restaurant in Sparks - 390 N McCarran Blvd, USA

My daughter and I came here on Thanksgiving Day for breakfast and was surprised they were open. The signs outside says that they're open 24 hours and they have a drive-thru. They have a nice full menu along with condiments for you to serve yourself and a soda machine. They take cash and card and have high seats inside for kids and a hand sanitizing Machine by the entrance when you walk inside

They operate a 24 hour drive thru!! So if you're like me and sometimes want Fajitas at 2am, boom they got you!!...but the $1 chicken tacos I was served on a Wednesday @ 930pm , were cold and begiñning to stale...premade at least an hour before I ever ordered! ❄️🌮😩. So Overall : 3 stars.

Ordered steak nachos and a chicken taco received a taco bell version of a chicken taco and chicken nachos instead of steak which costs more given no receipt then when I called was lied to telling me that there protocols were that she repeated the order which she did but was handed wrong food spend your elsewhere and make sure you received a receipt because they don't care about customers

My husband picked up 5 burritos yesterday for dinner. The pastor burritos were so spicy, the whole family couldn't eat them! We love Rivas, we have been loyal customers for a while now, but I believe this new location is not following the recipes, the salsa verde was also extremely spicy. This never happened before when we pick up food at the Prater way location. We would not go back, the food was very disappointing.

This place was not worth the mud butt let alone the calories. It is another Robertos chain style place. The food is not the best. The seasoning is lacking. We ordered delivery and got the wrong food. Overall, I do not recommend it. Save yourself the money and find an authentic mexican restaurant before spending money on food that taste straight from a can.

Their daily specials look good and priced right. October 14, 2023 after 11 pm I picked up their Saturday special 2 Carnitas Tacos Combo ( although I didn’t take the drink by choice). It was pretty good for $8.99 before taxes. I would still prefer little more meat and less salt in rice and beans. Service is good, since it was after 11 pm (ordered over the phone) I (trucker) had to walk up to the drive through window to pick up my order. I’m still satisfied 90%. I’m gonna try their different dishes since I am in town for 9 more weeks.

Being from So.Cal., we love Mexican food. And the more authentic the better. As far as Mexican 'fast food' goes, we've tried them all here in Reno. Hands down, Riva's is the best. And it's about as authentic as you're going to get for this category. Their portions are plenty, and their prices are not- if I'm going to pay $10-11 dollars for a burrito, it's going to be from here. My favorite is the salsa nachos- they have THE BEST tortilla chips overall (I am a connoisseur when it comes to those as well). And the best part about Riva's for you night owls? They are open 24hrs.! The only downside to Riva's for me, is I live on the South Side of Reno and they have only two locations- and they are in Sparks. So com'on Riva's! Where's the love for Reno?

Owners are friendly and wonderful people! The food is always delicious! HIGHLY recommend the nachos (shrimp, carnitas, steak, chicken, el pastor). Taco's are really good. Restaurant is always clean & they have a good size dine in area to sit and enjoy your meal. They have a drive thru for those of you in a hurry! ❤️
