Ritz Motel - Featured Reviews (97)
The room was a lot better than expected. Not the best, but for the low rate it was decent. Watch out for the occasional roach that decides to make an appearance. The bed was comfortable in my opinion. I slept straight into late morning and woke up fine.
There was a lot of police activity last night. No one disturbed us personally but the flashing blue lights were enough to indicate that it must've been an interesting time outside.
You get what you pay for.
0 STARS POOR WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE
Asked the lady if my room was decent , she said yes why ? Further more the room looked bad and the next morning I was able to have a brief of the other empty rooms MUCH CLEANER . So they purposely gave me a nasty room. Do better !!!
It isn't the Drake, but it's better than no roof over one's head.
The price is roughly $40/night or $200/week, $450/month. It's kind of charming, in a bizarre, down-with-other-peoples'-problems sort of way. I had been staying in and out of homeless shelters, friends' houses, and (rarely) camping out or walking around all night until businesses opened or I could find work. Since the Salvation Army in Little Rock has ceased sheltering single men, there are fewer options than there ought be. If one misses the 7:00pm check-in time of Nehemiah House and/or one simply needs (as I occasionally do), one's own bedroom, the Ritz is a do-able option. I've lived there for more than a couple months during 2016, and I think my South-Asian middle name helped swing me a room and curry favor (haha, "curry" favor--get it?!) with the office attendant.
Thanks for keeping me out of the rain on more than a few low nights, Ritz Motel. I don't quite miss you, yet hope that the "good" room (126, with the flat-screen TV instead of the boob tube) is there if I need it. :)
I have no problem with the owner but if he wants to keep his business going the need to let go of that fake cop in his office. They do not allow visitors at all and one night my boyfriend, who is registered guest, was harassed by him. He followed my boyfriend to his car hollering at him and my boyfriend told him he stay there. We've been there for 2 weeks but one night a large strange man knocks on my door at 1 in the morning and have not heard one peep from this guy. I guess he only feel tough messing with smaller people huh? But if you don't mind feeling like a prisoner and being herassed by front office "security" this is an excellent place for you 😄
This was a dump for the dumped my first time ever to stay there. The room had nats thick . The t.v. an WiFi didn't even come in the room at all I stood outside and WiFi connected in nothing . I think it's a haunted room 12 don't stay in that one the office was nice to put me in a better room after I explained
I've never stayed there, but I know exactly where it is [the neighborhood] and the reputation it has [slightly above bottom class Dive], but today I found myself needing a quick, temporary place to stay until my apartment was ready. I read all the reviews (good & bad) about this place. I was particularly impressed with one that had the rates listed - they seem to be reasonable & the review was only a year old. So, I took my chance and called this chintzy motel and WAS APPALLED TO FIND OUT THEIR RATES WERE ON THE LEVEL OF A DECENT MOTEL 6!!! $680 for a month. HELL, that's how much my WHOLE apartment rents for! I was so shocked, I had to ask the heavily accented guy on the phone, "ARE YOU SERIOUS?" several times before it sunk in to me that this crummy motel in the midst of the drugs, prositution, violence corridor was actually charging those high rates! Best I would say is: DON'T GO THERE!!!
Well if you don't have much money there's always the Ritz got two friends that practically live there but at least they have a warm room a nice shower cable television and in the summer they got nice air conditioning If you like this review please click on like
Never get a motel here unless you don't mind bed bugs, roaches, and nets. Very rude owners, rooms not even worth $30, they charge $51
Afrobites is in the top class of food trucks. They offer safety and excellent customer service (which is hard to find nowadays). Their hours of operation are consistent, they're menu is easy to read and order from. They bring your order on a serving
