The product offered is delicious and typically provided quickly, but the staff, the past few times I have been there, were just rude. I watched as customers weren't greeted for a while or were greeted very rudely. I'm not saying it was a one person issue either. There were at least four staff members and they were all being that way. There were no mentions of "Thank you", "You're welcome", or "Have a great day". It felt really cold atmosphere-wise due to this. I'm not saying customers need butt kissing, but make people feel somewhat welcomed/acknowledged or try to brighten there day a little. I get that it's a job and I've worked in the service industry so I understand, but it's also a business that needs service standards set. Currently standards don't feel set and business will decrease (if it hasn't already) considering the number of coffee shops in a 1-2 mile radius... I hope things change for Rising Star. A 1 star rating is not fair because of the product, but the service was so bad I've got to go with 2 stars.

Great coffee and great service! Employees were wonderful and friendly. Fast service too! Only thing is that the back room gets very loud very fast. So if you are going here to study or work, would not recommend staying if there are a lot of people

I prefer tea to coffee, but all my friends that are coffee drinkers love Rising Star. They had a good variety of both coffee and tea, and had some baked goods, many of which were vegan. They have a small dining area where lots of people were meeting or working, but it did get crowded quickly due to its size. Will go back.

Cute place! Great color scheme and fast service. wasn't too crowded and the wifi worked! We love that.

I love latte from Rising Star. Nice place, good location. Price corresponds to the quality. Very nice service, the workers are polite and positive. Design of the room is simple, but has small art details that make it more interesting. I am also very grateful for the presentation of the coffee. It is important for me when not only the taste but also the appearance of my order is good.

I never tasted the difference in coffee beans until I started drinking rising stars! Bought it on sale randomly at Whole Foods and now I can’t drink anything else. Went in today and I love the vibe of the place. It’s spacious enough, not too loud the customer service is great.

Best coffee around! Only reason I go!! The staff on the other hand are very rude. They don't greet you. Ill say thank you they don't say anything back- in the morning, Id love to hear good morning one time. If the iced promised land wasnt my fav I wouldnt come back. Maybe hire somone who likes their job
