Very nice place in the middle of the city. Lots of trees and fresh air. A lot of little trails to follow. I didn’t have my dog when I visited but lots of other had theirs with them and it seemed like an area that is good for a dog to run around in.
Absolutely the best area for dogs to be off leash and explore. The trails are easy and the natural beauty is stunning! It’s like being in an enchanted forest! We visited daily during our vacation in Monterey/Pacific Grove!
Lovely open space for a walk with the dog. My city dog was scared of every unusual noise because it's so quiet and peaceful, it was amusing but we both enjoyed the experience!
I used to take my dog to this lovely place until a horrific incident happened in March 2019 that made me not want to go back, even though we weren't there at the time of the incident. A local woman had to go into the hospital and asked a friend to care for her dog. She instructed the friend to not take her to a dog park, and to not let her off the leash. While the owner was in the hospital the friend took the dog to this park and let her off-leash. The dog attacked another, smaller, dog and the small dog's owner stabbed the woman's dog to death in an effort to save his dog. I'm sharing this so people can be aware of the potential risks.
Lovely little patch of wild Pacific Grove Oak and pine forest. Trails for an afternoon stroll or dog walk with lots of bird life, especially acorn woodpeckers. Preserved native plants and wildflowers. Great place to get away from the tourists.
Fun for our 3 pups. Lots of sniffing space for the. They enjoyed smells scents and aromas. Watching them run around and enjoy the open space made us smile. :)
This place was magical! An enchanted forest! Such a wonderful place!
It is a stunningly beautiful space. I would have given it 5 stars but for the people who allow their dogs to just run up to you, jump up on you and insert itself into your experience. I wonder if the dog owners ever thought of getting consent from other people to make sure that person feels safe and comfortable about a strange dog coming up on them. I enjoy dogs but I had an experience once that causes me now to need a slower introduction to these fun excitable furry friends.

Wasn't sure what to expect, so I'm trying to give as detailed of a review as possible so that hopefully whoever sees it has a good idea of what they're paying for.
The rooms were smaller than expected. But if you're intending to be out the whole day
Great little B&B that is centrally located in Pacific Grove. Walking distance to cannery row, the aquarium and the monarch butterfly sanctuary.
The rooms were clean and everything worked well (for such an old house). We had no problems. There is a ni
A wonderful place to sit and reflect. The crashing waves are always intriguing. There is a path between several benches in the area. A great place to enjoy while on a coastal walk or bike ride.
First time experiencing Maxâs grill and the food was out of this world! Definitely going to be a repeat customer whenever we pass through Pacific Grove/Monterey. Absolutely amazing customer service, beautiful and cozy atmosphere. 10/10 would recomm
Staff was friendly. Room had plenty of space and was remarkably quiet. Enjoyed the gas fireplace. Best part was walking to the beach. Pacific Growth is a cute town and close to everything you would want to see or do in the area. We would stay again.
This is some of the better pizza I've had. (We got the My Sausage Garden gourmet.) The crust is nice and crispy on the bottom, so it holds up against the toppings. The toppings tasted fresh, the sauce was rich but not overpowering. Really, really goo
As usual, my wife and I turned up at the busiest period with no booking. The place was packed to the gills. Asked for a table and told it would be a 20minute wait. Browsed the menu while seated at the bench and watched the locals enjoying themsel
This restaurant was a rather choice in urgency. We arrived quite late in Monterey thus started late on food hunting. We didn't want to drive far so we chose the one with the most guests. We got decent food in big portions at fair prices. If you are n
Came here for dinner after spending the day in Monterey. This was such a pleasant surprise! All the dishes were very well done!
The grilled octopus was sooo soft that we've never had octopus prepared this way and yet you'd still get the grilled/smok
Beautiful B&B in a perfect location! My husband and I spent two nights in the Marie room which has a gorgeous ocean view. It was so peaceful lying in bed in the morning watching dolphins and sea lions swimming in the waves and the seabirds flying thr
