We are from Boston, but when we visit our daughter, we always stop here and do the paddle bolts or just enjoy the atmosphere. Love the view of the planes going in and out of Sky Harbor.
My recent visit to Rio Salado Park was absolutely wonderful. This park is a hidden gem for outdoor enthusiasts. The walking trails were easy to navigate and offered scenic views of the river. It was perfect for a leisurely stroll. I even saw some ducks and birds along the way. The park's lush greenery and peaceful atmosphere made it ideal for a picnic with friends. The playground was great for the kids, and there was plenty of open space to play and relax. It's a fantastic place to connect with nature and enjoy a day out in a serene setting.

Beautiful! At 7:15AM I was able to see the sunrise while the full moon was setting! It doesn't get much better than that. Let me know if there are any spots in nature where you're able to easily see both. Always looking for locations.
Awesome place to spend the evening. Beautiful sunsets, strolling around the trail, watching the flights land very so often.
Very nice place! Enjoyed the time we spent there. Lots of bikes, scooters, and boats for rent. Restrooms were clean, but there was only one open. Definitely dog friendly and plenty of space for them to play. Will definitely be going back to visit.
We went on a hot Sunday, but it was well worth it the trip. Beautiful views and a great place to stop for a picnic with the family. We also rode on the Tempe Streetcar and took a self-guided tour around the city. Keep in mind you’ll need a credit card to pay for parking.

Kiwanis Park is awesome! It's got a big playground, nice picnic spots, and a cool splash pad. My family loves coming here for fun outdoor days. The greenery and clean paths make it perfect for walks too. We always have a blast!
Hanger park has a great play ground, a basketball court, and a fun path for walking or rolling along on wheels or tires. There is a large grassy field where we had soccer practice (it really needs to be mowed as of August 2022). The parking is limit

The skatepark doesnât seem like much at first but itâs pretty fun dues to the ramps having good transition. It is pretty slick though so be careful, it also has a kinked rail and an two step manual pad/ ledge
