We were here for a weekend in October. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and their home is wonderful as well. I particularly love their wood paneled dining room, it’s very charming. ||The rooms had cute decorations relating to the homes heritage and had plenty of space. The in-room’s air conditioner (which was great in the fluctuating weather) had a fan-mode that made for relaxing white noise. On a colder night the electric heater in the fireplace was very welcome. ||Overall would recommend and hope to return one day!
This B&B offers a 1901 experience. The house is magnificent with its period furnishings. The room was very comfortable. The antiques are fun. The library, sitting room, the dining room were well appointed with collector's pieces. Julie and Stu did a nice job. Would recommend this.
My wife and I chose the Ringling House for the last stay of an anniversary fall foliage tour of Wisconsin. We found the home to be beautiful, and the atmosphere elegant, but homey. Our room was very comfortable, and the amenities were great. Our breakfast was delicious, and unique. The weather was very rainy, so we did not have the opportunity to fully explore Baraboo and the local attractions. I would love to visit again, and spend more time enjoying the living areas in the home.
This was my second stay at the Ringling House Bed and Breakfast. The entire house is beautiful, offering the perfect mix of historic charm and modern amenities. Breakfasts here are delicious and tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences. Treat yourself and stay at the Ringling House on your next trip in Wisconsin.
Lovely B & B. We enjoyed the room. It was lovely, large, with a king bed. Bathroom was nice. The home is gorgeous, with lots of lovely antiques, and wonderful architectural details.
The only things keeping us from a 5 star rating on the room itself were the two wasps we had to kill (they got through the screen somehow); the room did not cool down as much as we would have liked (would have been just fine for 90% of other people, however), and that the beautiful antique sink/vanity had hot only/cold only taps which was a pain. There were 3 taps, perhaps the center tap was supposed to be warm water, but it just wasn't. While this is beautiful, it made washing my face and hands less than ideal.
Very nice perks:
Dining room where you eat breakfast is gorgeous. There are two sitting rooms you can use downstairs that are really beautiful.
There are motion detecting lights on the staircase, so when you come back to your room after 7 pm, they come on automatically as you go up the stairs, and go off minutes after you go into your room.
Keep in mind: there is a refrigerator/microwave for guest use, but it is outside the rooms on the landing of the second floor. Also, you MUST be able to manage stairs to stay here. Believe it or not, there is an elevator. However, it no longer works and I'm sure wouldn't be worth the cost to repair.
The location is great, it is at the "slow" end of a main street, and in a residential area. We don't like being in the commercial area of towns, so we were happy about the location.
Our hostess was pleasant, and made us some very nice breakfasts. Note that the breakfasts were not high in protein, if this is an issue for you. This is not a complaint, just a heads-up. If you let her know I am sure she can work with your dietary needs, or at least let you know to what extent she can accommodate.
All-in-all, we had a good time and enjoyed our stay.
Our room seemed clean, but extremely worn. Only one chair and it was ripped in places. Tub was stained, as well as the inside of the toilet. Stained with some blue tint around the rim and down from the Fossett in the tub. The bed was not very stable and made a clunking noise When you move. The AC which is hosed out of the window and a freestanding unit in the room cooled nicely, but was very loud. breakfast consisted of a carton of fruit yogurt, a small dish of fruit, a glass of fruit juice, and a fruit pancake and two heat and serve sausages. Everything fruit. The surfaces seemed clean, but if you looked around all the furniture in the rooms of the public spaces, you could see the dust underneath. The price that I was quoted and charged was not the price listed on the website. There was nothing pristine about the place, not the linens, not the common areas, won’t be going back.
This Bed and Breakfast is a lovely old home. Circus-related decor was very interesting, rooms were beautifully decorated, hostess was very nice. We're only rating this a 3 because the breakfasts were disappointing and not what we expect from a B&B. One morning was pancakes and brown-n-serve sausages. There is a wonderful meat market just a few blocks away that I am sure could source great local breakfast sausage. Another morning was a ramekin with a very runny egg on top of spinach soufflé. A couple of us at the table reeeeally don't like runny eggs, and this seems like a very risky breakfast to serve, as I'm sure others feel the same way. Each day's breakfast was accompanied by a cup of yogurt (nice) and one small piece of sweet bread per person (just one, no variety.)
We had a wonderful stay. The home is beautiful and the host and hostess were so welcoming. We would highly recommend this location for any type of visit, a nice get away.

This is truly the most stunning rock formation in Devilâs Lake State Park, if not all of Wisconsin. After all, who would expect such an incredible natural marvel in a U.S. state thatâs not known for tall mountains or rock formations or other nat
Labrynth Games is a great FLGS in Baraboo! Corey is a super friendly owner who we really enjoyed talking with. The store is beautiful and very well laid out, using every inch of space cleverly without feeling closed in. We'll be back any time we're i
Not too big, not too small either, but regardless, this iconic rock formation adds to the splendor of Devilâs Lake State Park, which is perhaps the most amazing place Iâve visited in Wisconsin so far.
The owners of this property are extremely kind and helpful people. A quiet and peaceful campground to stay for a few nights (or more if you have an RV). Plenty of room for tents. Plenty of wood for purchase for cheap. A little close to the highway bu
We randomly stopped in to BaraBrew a year ago while visiting Devil's Lake and were pleasantly surprised: Despite a mild mannered exterior, the inside hid an incredible find! Well curated with easy pleasers and absolute gems for beer and spirits drink
