Rinconcito Latino - Mexican restaurant in Savannah - 2308 Skidaway Rd, USA

So if you follow my food journey, I don't sugar coat based on others reviews. I love Mexican food. Especially a good Chimachanga or Quesadilla. Decided to go for the first. Never had a bad one, until today. Why would you burn my food an still bag it up for me? All the other food passing by looked great, but not my to-go order. Is it because it was to-go & you figured I wouldn't say anything? Well, we are foodies. It was our first time here and I've heard great things. I guess it's not always good when all you had to do was start over. It was dry, burnt, just ugh. Normally I would come right back with plate, but I'm tired and I don't want to ask Isaac to bring me back(he will say I'm picky). I'm not. I want my food prepared properly. I've had this meal from elsewhere plenty of times an this was burnt an not it. Isaac's shrimp Alfredo he said was ok. I would expect a little more authentic flavors added to it. I would also rather have chips an salsa instead of sliced, buttered bread. The rice was delicious, I give you that. Don't know if I will return. A picture says a thousand words, so I take them.

This is authentic Mexican food and it amazing but the prices are steep hence the 4 stars. We will definitely go back but it will be a special occasion only type place due to high prices. The staff is great and we're so friendly. The decor is so neat with engraved mirrors and scorched wood. Really enjoyed this place.

For a great tasting Mexican meal, you should dine here. The food is always prepared perfectly, plenty of flavor, & generously proportioned. The staff & service is amazing as well. Very friendly. This restaurant was just remodeled. Great new wood work and designs. There is also live music, to enjoy while dining. Great place. Check it out.

The people at this location went ABOVE AND BEYOND for my party of 35 people. They were super flexible, patient and extremely nice. I can definitely say that even when taking our order at the same time, they did not take that long in making our food and it tasted well!! Our waitress was super nice, attentive, polite and the food was delicious. I recommend getting their frozen margarita pitcher! That and their excellent service with such a big group is definitely a reason I’m coming back

Worst experience, we where served our good and no spoons or forks or knives. My husband had to get up to ask for the remaining of the food! After they gave us our utensils and tortillas, the tortillas had mildew... disgusting!! The waiter checked us only twice and never came back!!! At the end they charged us full price for everything!!

The curb appeal does not do the inside justice at all! I was skeptical at first because of the area, but wow! I was blown away with how amazing the atmosphere was…. If you are looking for a cool hangout place with awesome food, here’s your place! The back of the restaurant has a bar with pool tables and the front is decorated so nicely. The service is amazing and the owner checks in on you as well as the servers. The food came out within a few minutes and it was very tasty. I will be back again when I’m up in the area. Highly recommend!!!

All the way around a horrible experience.Waitress was nice but kinda rushed us. Before the food came out she left. Nobody came to check on us till the food came out (with no eating utensils) said do you need anything. We didn't even have a chance to look at our food yet. Nobody ever came back again. 2 of the meals were awful and one wasn't even the right order. We were starving tried to get full on what was edible. Then waited for our check to have to hunt down the lady who brought our food and distract her from her phone to check us out.

Everything is pretty good but, for the love of GOD!!! Please turn the music down!!! Lunch time on a Wednesday and I feel like I'm in the club! With both ear buds in i still can't hear my phone... jeez... great place though, I'll be back tomorrow with ear muffs
