This is our favorite walking and hiking trail in the area - many miles of paths with varying levels of difficulty. A popular spot for mountain biking as well. We like it for all the different kinds of terrain and it's a great spot for walking your dog as well.

Awesome for walking our dogs! There are many trails all of which are nestled within the woods and are nice and winding. The quietness combined with the smell of pine in the air made us feel like we were miles deep within a forest.

Wonderful spot to hike with the family. My 2 year old loves riding his bike on the trails and it’s great not having to worry about cars, just the occasional bike rider who is going much faster than a little tot.

I love walking Riley Trails Park in every season, although I seem to get lost every time I go! Trails are shared with mountain bikers. There are two parking entrances, one on Riley and another on 160th. The trails are dog friendly. Very peaceful. If you hear what sounds like a gun shots, it’s a sound produced by a local blueberry farm to keep birds off the blueberries!

This is a great Trail System for not just an Adult but also the entire Family. It is good for kids to learn not only how to navigate a trail system, but also gain confidence in their abilities. No matter your skill level it is a good trail, with lots to offer. Very flowy and easy to stay focused. Great to get an aerobic workout in as well, easily able to stay between 3 gears.

Beautiful all year round. I love to take the family hiking and biking in the trails. I also love to take the mountain bikes out with the older kids on the trails. It can get busy, but there's enough trail for everyone.

A perfect place to bring your family for biking and hiking trails, nature walks and Geocaching. Multiple trail difficulty levels are well mapped to serve every level, and it also has a pit toilet restroom at the parking lot. The parking lot can be packed on weekends and the small lakes are often quite low on water level due to the monitoring wells that remove the ground water below the retired trash dump that closed in 1981 (fenced off and covered over). If you find yourself in an area of massively tall Jack Pines or Red Pines spaced at 6 foot intervals in neat rows, they were planted in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps. They were supposed to have been thinned out (cut every other tree) at xx year intervals but the outbreak of World War II ended the program and the ongoing forestry management was never completed. The trees are strong today in standing in groups that they have grown up with, but proactive thinning now would risk weakening entire groups. The areas where you may see cutting has been done is only to prevent the spread of disease. This area needs more 40 and 80 acre parcels of recreation land like this. A huge thanks to the Ottawa County Parks Department for making this place possible. God bless and have a blast.

Great place for a walk or bike ride. It’s also fun to see what mushrooms pop up.

This is a really nice park. It's scenic and has been pretty quiet the number of times that I've been there, but I try not to go when it's busy. I usually hang out or sit in the truck and enjoy the scenery. Very peaceful and beautiful.

Another great Ottawa County Park! I never knew this cute trail was located right behind the Love’s Truck Stop! Short, easy walk in the loop around the water. Dog friendly! You can also get an up close view of the Macatawa River around the corner.

Nice park! I think there are 2 softball fields, but there may be more. Was there to watch a softball game. Had to share a picture of this cute dog whose owner was thoughtful enough to bring fans along with to keep him cool. 😁
