Love this trail, there are easy and harder parts....biking, walking, sight seeing amazing views
Extraordinarily beautiful gorge. Very little (if any shade) so go early, bring plenty of water, and wear sunscreen, and a hat. Easy trails and a beautiful view are the payoff.
Great trail system. Well maintained and quite mellow. We hiked it and might have to buy some mountain bikes. There is a bit of elevation change, but over all it's a nice walk with great sweeping views of sagebrush, mountains and the Rio Grande once you get close enough. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife, we saw a Horned Lizard scurry across the trail
If you feel like a walk and looking for some incredible views but you're short on time this spot can't be beat.
This trail would be awesome if those who accessed it would respect the neighborhood and drive the speed limit!!! BLM wants nothing to do with helping to improve the impact of their trail system to our neighborhood. Disappointed by far.
If you are visiting, consider slowing down. Keep in mind the trail should not be ridden when muddy by bikes or horses. Dogs should be voice restrained and on a leash in the parking lot. This trail has become extremely crowded and many users are not polite.
Spirtual place, Majestic views and awesome wildlife. Great place to go for a walk in beauty with Taos's own.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
You can see snow capped mountains on one side and the Rio Grande gorge on the other.
We didn't actually go on the hike, but simply being in the parking lot provided such great views that I'm sure the hike would be amazing.
Is it amazing spots experience in extreme geological event.
Just about the best hike I ever had. May be a little more intimidating than you expected, but it makes sense once you get to the top. Well worth persisting, with many small payoffs in the form of fascinating geology and breathtaking views along the w
Me and my Partner had the pleasure of staying in Casita A while we stayed for an extended time in Taos. The property is peaceful, beautiful and welcoming. We loved staying in the Casita, it is incredibly cozy and includes everything you need. The kit
It has been a long Path leading me to this sacred place. I've been in temples with Baba-ji in my Sleeping Dreams, however this visit was my first in my Waking Dream. The love and dedication of his devotees is everywhere you look; the scents and sound
First time to Taos skiing and stayed here several days in the large main home. Lots of space with a big kitchen, living and dining area. Our group had for adults and seven kids, mostly teenagers. Kids took over the big dining table for card games etc
This place looks like itâs not in Taos! Itâs a hidden gem inside of the Taos Valley Lodge hotel. Spacious, super clean, welcoming. Large variety of coffees and tea shakers, along with some baked goodies and burritos. Fast wi-fi and lots of space
This is a delicious little food truck!!! Everything we've tried on the menu has been delicious. The fries and onion rings are some of the best I've had! The staff is super friendly and proces are reasonable!!
We have been traveling to Taos for nearly 30 years. We will never stay anywhere else again! The Old Taos Guesthouse has always been ideally located close to town with amazing views. However, now that they have added the new casitas, we can the choose
Had an outstanding experience staying here. Rooms are spacious, charming, and comfortable, the value is excellent, and the staff was extremely helpful and personable. What puts it above and beyond other options is the free breakfast spread, which was
